Like you I was in a "mixed marriage" although in my humble opinion a marriage is a marriage regardless of it being between diffrent races, religions or same sex or opposite sex, and I have two young'ns from my first marriage that are Amerasian and very proud of their dual heritages. Personally I think gun ownership should be much more restrictive and limited......take for example the difference between deaths by gunshots within the United States as opposed to the rest of the world.

The seating size and legroom is all important. i am a solidly built 6ft 1in guy. Small seating kills me. I occasionally fly business class and going back to economy is a real struggle afterwards.

strangely enough, the gazillion illegals may be saving the social security system. the wetbacks get a phoney id and a fictictious social secuirty number. social security taxes are deducted from their paychecks and the employer must also match the deduction. but these giys will never collect a penny, cause it's all under a bogus name.

I'm over here on the East coast. We are flooded with Brazilians, Mexicans, Dominicans, Cubans, and some Jamacians here and there. Sure they may put some money into the system, but what they take out is devastating. Take my area for example. Most have some kind of tourist, or temp. work visa to start. Then they just stay here. They have cornered the market in draining Social Services. Free education for their kids. Health care, (hospitials cannot refuse admittance in Mass.) Also, look at what they've done to Calif. Health care. In Southern Ca. the Mexicans will take their sick family members (especially the elderly) and just leave them at the hospitial and drive off. The hospitials by law have to treat them. And by God YOU have to pay for it. But here in my little town, we have Community services, last year a friend who works there told me the Brazilians took all of the Turkeys for poor familys (32) and over 90% of the toys for tots for Christmas. Section 8 housing, food stamps, If there's a "freebie", then they take it. They even get in State tuition in State Colleges. (I'm pretty sure, but don't quote me) Housing rentals have gone through the roof and families can't afford to rent house, when you can put 2-3 in each bedroom for 400 a month per head. There's a guy who works at the hospitial who owns 3 houses with (at last I heard) 51 renters paying 350. a month. you do the math. Families can't compete against that. You can accuse me of sterotyping, but this is the way it is. You can't criticize them because you're guilty of being a racist. It's not like the old days when people came here and assimilated into the country to become Americans. Now they just bleed the system. Not all of them mind you, but the negatives far outweigh the positives.

What started as a really harmless little bit of picking has denigrated into some malicious name calling against heritages and religions in a very stereotypical fashion with some very acidic tones and I'm probably responsible since I started it with what I thought was just some simple playing around but I guess I was wrong about who to pick on.......my bad.........I apologize and it most certainly won't happen again unless I'm absolutely sure I'm not offending certain parties...........you know part of the reason I disappeared for a few months a while back was there was one certain individual who chose to continually make disparaging remarks about certain races and cultures........and I hate to see that happen again especially if it is unintentionally initiated by me

I've thought long and hard about how to answer the previous posts and decided it could be done several ways but most all would boil down to fanning the flames and continuing the debate to point where words would become heated, insults would fly, feelings would be hurt and friendships destroyed so I've decided that at this point its better for me to apologize for my poor decision on who to play with and who not to and do the thing that this liberal aging pussy hippy, as I have been called before coincidentally by individuals who never had the balls to don a uniform for their country let alone spend a career serving it, and just ease out of this debate, hat in hand and leave thing to those who seem to have all the answers.........regardless of them being right or wrong. My suggestion is believe what you want to believe, worship what you choose to worship, love who you want to love..........but when it comes to forcing those choices onto others it creates the chasms between people that we have in countries throughout the world that we have today.
