First trip to Thailand coming in March

Dear Forum, first thank you so much for all the information here. This will be my first time in Thailand and I have not decided where to go. I am only going for 7 days, it seems that I have to arrive in Bangkok. Where should I go next? it seems that a lot of you had a great in Phuket and Pattaya. So at this moment I would love to ask your advice. I am not looking for girlfriends, i would like to try a different beautiful lady boy every day (if possible).

You can easily find one or more different ladyboys per day in Bangkok or Pattaya.
Phuket is harder to get to and usually another flight, it has nicer beaches but less ladyboys and can be more expensive.
Doesn't sound like you have much time to fool around, 7 days isn't much for Thailand especially if you are travelling a long way.

To get your best bang for the buck Pattaya is your best bet as hotels are generally cheaper than Bangkok. Also the ladyboys in Pattaya tend to be cheaper but may also be more likely to want to stay longer with you. In Bangkok it is easier to stay single as they are a little more business like. But in both Pattaya and Bangkok you can easily fulfill your goals.

If you only have 7 days and you're not too concerned with budget, I would have to say Bangkok is probably the best place. At Nana Plaza there are close to 300 ladyboys working in the bars there: Charades (formerly known as Cascade), True Obsessions, Temptations, Fairy Bar, DC10 (mixed gg/lb bar), and Straps (post-op/gg bar). Then a short 5 min walk to the Rajah Hotel Complex is Chaos 9 bar with around 15 ladyboys, and Check In Bar on Sukhumvit between Soi 5/7 has around 30 more ladyboys. You can try 3-4 different beautiful ladyboys daily quite easily. There is also a ladyboy bar in Soi Cowboy, called Cockatoo - which has around 30 lbs or so, as well as Kings Castle 3 in Patpong (around 20-30 minutes away from Sukhumvit) which has around 40 ladyboys as well.

In Pattaya, things are more spread out. If you had more than a week, splitting your time between both is a good idea.

Usually i take my regular phone with a roaming package so that i can make calls and texts back home and receive them.
Also i like to bring an unlocked phone and you can buy a simm card at the airport or anywhere really.
Normallly you get the best exchange rate in Thailand. You can take Canadian cash and exchange it at the airport or there is exchange booths all over Thailand. Personally like to leave most of my money in the banks and take it out through ATMs. I may pay a little more in fees this way but i don't have to carry a bunch of cash around. However i make sure to have 2 or 3 different ATM cards in case on gets cut off. Otherwise the best bet is to exchange your cash when you get there. Thailand has more ATMs than you have ever seen.

You can bring condoms but there is no problem buying them in Thailand. It is a good idea to brings ones from Canada that know fit you since it is tricky to get the right sized condoms in Thailand some times.
Viagra is highly recommended and available in Thailand without a prescription. You can buy it any pharmacy.
There isn't really much else you need to bring. In years past it was hard to get certain things in Thailand but now days you can get almost anything there you like. If there is specific underwear that turns you on you can bring it but gifts for the ladyboys are not really necessary unless you have a steady. They are more than happy with your money.

The only other thing i would suggest is trying to stretch your trip more than 7 days. It will take you 3 full days to get to Bangkok and back so the longer you can stay the better. My jetlag going to Thailand is never too bad but when i come back to Canada it often lasts up to 10 days.

If your phone is triband and unlocked, you can buy a Thai SIM card on arrival at the airport. The major service providers have booths set up after you come through customs. You can buy data packages as well. All providers have 3G and some also have 4G. It is less expensive to do it this way than to enable roaming with your Canadian service provider. If you don't have an unlocked triband phone, you can buy a used one in Thailand for a low price at MBK, a major shopping centre just near the National Stadium. Easy to get to via Skytrain - the elevated rail system.

Unless you are quite well endowed and need extra large, condoms are easily available in Thailand in the convenience shops 7/11, Family Mart, etc. There is a thread about Okamoto condoms which are excellent.

If you decide to use Viagra, Cialis, Levitra, etc, you must avoid using nitrates (nitroglycerin, amyl nitrate (poppers), isosorbide dintrate/monotritate, etc) as this could cause a lethal case of extreme low pressure pressure causing death.

Changing money is easy and you get far better rates in Thailand so don't bother to change your money in Canada. There is a thread about ATM use you should review.

Dear Crag and rxpharm, I have booked my trip, I will be leaving on March 2 arriving March 3 returning March 11 (8 days). You guys have really helped me a lot in organizing this and I thank you. As usual I would like to ask you more questions:

1. Would you be able to recommend a place to stay in Bangkok (close to Nana)? I have seen some of your posts, I can spend up to 70-100 CAD per night, I would prefer a place where there is some safety provided. You have mentioned that you could run into problems with some Lb (what kind of problems?). Someone also mentioned that it will be a good idea lock valuables (is this a concern?).


2. It has taken me some time to understand all the abbreviations here and the terms, and now I know what is a Femboy (I did not know), I am not interested in Femboys or post ops. How do you know which one is which?

3. I know this might be an stupid question, but how I can stay out of problems. I dont want to have any problems with drugs or under age Lb.

4. I am looking forward to spend complete nights with beautiful girls that like to kiss (I am a sucker for that). Could you recommend anybody?

5. I have found some Lb in backpage, is this a good idea? So far I have seen these three beautiful Lbs.

1. There is lots of hotels near Nana. The best site to book on is agoda.com. Thes are two of my favourites.

Most of the ladyboys are pretty good in Thailand but there is always risks. Just keep your stuff safe and watch your drinks that no one puts anything in them. Keep your valuables in the hotel safe. There is a few bad ones, just like anywhere.

2. Post Op means they have had sexual reassignment surgery. In other words they have had their cock removed and had a pussy put in it's place. Most ladyboy bars are pre-op ladyboys especially in Nana Plaza, some bars in other places will have the odd post-op working. It is a good idea to make sure they have a cock before you take them home.
Femboys are boys that are feminine and don't have breasts and possibly live as a boy when they are not dressing as a girl. This thread should give you a good idea.

3. Some of the ladyboys do drugs but most keep it to themselves if they do. Just don't let them bring drugs or call their dealer, but as I say in most cases this is not a problem. If the girls are working in the bars you can be almost positive they are of age. They have to be 20 to work in the bars and police check this. You can also ask to see their ID, they will show it to you usually. When you take ladyboys back to your hotel, the hotel will take their ID and hold it at the front desk until they leave. Then they will usually call up and ask if you are ok before they give the ID back to her. So there is a built in system to help keep you safe. The year on their ID may be different than our calendar since traditionally Thais use another one. The equivilent of 2015 is 2558 and 2016 will be the year 2559. The new ID may have our year on it but if not just subtract 18 from the current year. 18 is the age of consent in Thailand.

4. There is lots of ladyboys that will spend all night and many will kiss. You will just have to shop around and find the one you like best, you can kiss many if you sit in the bar for a while. Don't be afraid to ask the hostess which girls fit your needs. You may want to consider going to Pattaya if you are really looking for GFE (girlfriend experience). In Pattaya it is easier to find Ladyboys that want to stay all night and usually for a little cheaper. In Bangkok there is many less that want to stay all night or even 24 hours, but still there is alot that will. You can hire a car for about $50 and be in Pattaya in under 2 hours.

5. I would not call ladyboys from backpage, at least at first. You just don't know what you are going to get and there is more chance of getting ripped off if are a newbie. If you are staying in Nana area there is nearly a dozen ladyboy bars and hundreds of ladyboys to choose from. Usually you can kiss them and check them out in the bar so you know you are getting one you like. So I would suggest checking out the ladyboy bars in Nana. There is many ladyboys on the street working too, still it is safer to take them out of the bars even though it may cost you slightly more. I could recommend ladyboys but you should really go and choose your own and live the experience. Once you become more experienced and know a little more who the ladyboys are you could consider freelancers and street girls. For a newbie the bars are a little more structured.
