Thai Baht and exchange rates

I didn't see a thread specifically about Thai Baht so as I was looking into in it I found this stuff.
Here is a really good description of Thai money and how to exchange it. No need to repeat it really.

So for comparison sake i have checked various sources for how much Thai Baht you may get for $1000 USD today.
Every single site I have read, says the thai Baht is cheaper in Thailand always. This is my experience.

This site has estimated daily rate at the Suvarnabhumi Airport accounts for a 2.5% exchange fee.
1,000.00 USD = 31,828.63 THB

The airport has an currency exchanger but it seems quite generous probably doesn't account for the 2.5% fee.

Well their rate for US dollars to Thai won't be great because neither is their base currency.
Still you are right, Canadian banks are usually among the worst rates.
