I just had a trawll through Facebook and found an advert for the Vault Pattaya Hotel that has as its strapline:

NO DRUGS - NO LADYBOYS

Would that be because they are both addictive?

The way I see it is that private businesses should be able to allow and disallow who the hell they like.

If Christians don't want mincers in their bed and breakfasts then they should be allowed to say 'No, sorry, mincers... this is my business and I decide with whom I do business!'

Many hotels have had bad experiences with LB guests and prefer not to have them because they may upset other guests.

Most hotels put up the sign but if your LB GF is passable and obviously not a hooker then they'll quietly ignore their own rules and regs.

Same with smokers. Let pubs decide whether smoking is good or bad for business and let the public decide if they want smokey pubs or not.

Same with taxi drivers... don't feel like stopping at 3 am for the three blacks wearing hoodies with a gun aimed at your windshield? Well - drive on buy and stop for the granny laden with her weekly shopping.

If you don't like doing business with ladyboys then I certainly won't be doing business with you!

Like in Taipei in Taiwan. Some bars have a notice " No Westerner to be allowed". As if i want drink in some expensive shithole where a bottle of jack Daniels cost 150 USD , in other words , thanks for the tip off

They claim its due to Westerners complaining about the big inflated tab that turns up after lunch. Reality is their as racist as hell just like the Japanese. When do you hear the bleeding heart Liberals pipe up about it...  appears Racism is ok as long as your not a caucasian.

I totally agree with Q and the Cat and its one of the reasons (other than respect for my digestion) that I don't patronise McDonalds who sacked a Phillipina Ladyboy of my acquaintance when they discovered she had more to her than expected (this was in PI). She ended up as my PA and fairly soon increased the amount of personal in her assistance Oh happy days

Going back around 15 years some of the Go Go Bars in Patpong used to have a sign outside saying " No Ladyboy work here" due to the infitration of GG bars by LBs. Most guys back then only had a vague idea of Katoeys back then and many unknowing recieved blow jobs.

This subject did blow up a few years ago when a certain BM got refused entry at a well known night club due to the fact that his arm candy was a Ladyboy. Im not sure if its the Hotel/Club owners own views or their ideas on the perception of their customers.

perhaps the Hotel has a certain clientele who dont like transexuals... maybe Russians for instance or Indians.

The fact is that many travel agents have instructions that certain Hotels have preferences and many are " No Blacks , no Indians, No Mid East and so on and on. I have even seen a printed guide book with code words for the great un-desired. So its not just trannies

They have a restaraunt here in Dallas that has a sign that says "No Children Allowed". For those of us who like to enjoy a meal in peace and relaxation.

I hate Political correctness in all its forms. I dont give two fucks whos offended in this world and i think those that are should find the nearest cliff and throw themselves off... if you need a nudge i might be available.

As many in Academia are coming around to figuring out that Morality is all bullshit and meaningless and grounded in nothing. Disliking others is perfect acceptable for any reason IMHO and just human nature. Thats the way we are

Would I be offended if I was turned away from a club/bar/restaurant because of what I looked like?

Fuck NO! I'll just move to somewhere where I AM more welcome.

I'm dirt in Thailand and I know it. I'm not wanted/respected, etc.

I still like the place and hopefully they won't lynch me for a few years yet!
