Taxi fares from BKK airport to Pattaya?

I know this question has been asked a few times already but I could not find anything using the search function.It is a while ago I went directly from the airport to Patt , it looks like I´ll have a three nights stop in LOS on my way to Shanghai that I could use for a side-step to Pattaya.
Arriving aound 3 pm on Suvarnabhumi aiport I want to travel straight on to Patt.Knowing that the Bgkk taxis are gangsters&robbers I look for a cheaper way of transportation.
Any suggestions ? Thanks !

Did my apartment (not far from the airport) to/from Pattaya a few times at 1200 baht one way with the expressway charges included in the price.

Used Mr. T but I can't manage to recover the phone number from my card at the moment.

The upper end is about 1500.

Yes, I would do Bell if the time is right. You get to Pattaya safely and comfort is OK.  However, you need to make a booking in advance. You don't have to pay, just make a booking.

Twice now, I have gone to departures and asked a waiting taxi to take me to Pattaya.  I don't ask the price, I TELL them I will give them 1000 baht, and ask them if they agree.  One agreed after I turned down his 1200 offer, and the other agreed immediately.  Both asked me to pay the tolls.  

Both of these were after 10:00pm, but I do not think the time will matter.  I maybe could have gotten it for less, but 1000 seemed fair, especially as I can choose a nice new, clean car out of those waiting.

As others have posted, Bell is very good door-to-door service for 200 baht...The buses leave the airport at
08:00, 10:00, 12:00, 14:00, 16:00 and 18:00 hours...

I've been stood up by Mr. T and ignored by Apple Taxi, so they are both off my list...

A public taxi at the taxi stand will cost 1500 baht all in...But as EyeMahk has pointed out if you deal directly
at departures you can get one for 1000 baht plus tolls...

Try Bell if the timing is right...You won't be disappointed...

Perfect timing! I had just received an email earlier today from a friend who told me his negotiated rate for Apple taxi is 1,100baht from Swampy to the hotel in Pattaya which includes the tolls.

I think he throws her a tip of 200 baht as well because he likes her and appreciates her service.

I used Mr. T service and was extremely happy. Outstanding! I highly recommend.

I took regular taxi from BKK to Pattaya and flat fee was 1500 Bhat. But then I learned about Mr. T for return trip and cost was 1100 Bhat as reported by others. They pick you up at hotel, they are on time and they know the streets in both cities.
Plus they will meet you at the airport in BKK with advance notice so there are no hassles. Coming in from a long trip, the last thing I want is to look for a ride.....

I will use Mr. T for all future visits.

Only just noticed this thread, so my post is a bit late for Ernesto, but may be of use for others. I always use Pattaya Taxis. 1000 baht, including tolls, from Suvarnabhumi to Pattaya, 1,800 roundtrip if you want your GF to meet you at the airport. I tip an additional 100 baht. I have used them all year and have always had excellent service. Although Om does the bookings now the lady on the end of the phone speaks good English. The number is 0813 401365.
