Thank you Steff for this great find. She helped with a last second request.

I had sent her an email last Friday morning for travel from BKK airport to Pattaya and I did not receive a reply before leaving for the airport in Singapore. I had thought that I would be stuck taking a regular taxi but Cindy called her first thing when we landed and Apple said that she would be at the airport in 30mins or so and apologized for not being able to answer my email.

She seemed to be in good health and in a very happy mood. Great service. I called her today for a Pattaya-BKK transfer for Saturday afternoon.

So what's a typical charge from the airport to Patts hotel using Apple? Same-same as other taxis?

My deal with Apple from Swampy to my hotel in Pattaya is 1,300baht. I then tip 200. So 1,500 which includes tolls. They seem to be very happy with this. Maybe you can do better elsewhere but her service is reliable and pleasant. If you want me to contact her on your behalf let me know thought a PM. After a long flight, dealing with taxi drivers can be a hassle sometimes right at the moment one hits the ground exhausted. A little relaxing ride might be worth the few baht extra.

Steff, this time I hope the virus is gone. I am going to contact Apple Taxi to pick me up January 28th at 11:30 pm. The last usage of her service was fantastic.

The service is still fantastic albeit without the sweet company of Apple. I used her service 4 times during my current trip and was completely satisfied. As you know Apple has been struggling with a health issue and I do not know if she is allowed to drive presently. However she remains at the helm coordinating and running her business. All of her surrogate drivers are polite and reliable.

Apple quoted me a great price, then said if it was to much she would lower the price. I told her the price like her service was excellent.

I met her 3 or 4 times in November and she told me she was fine and feeling pretty good .

I didn't want to pry too much but she gave me the impression that there was nothing serious wrong with her which was a big relief , I was glad to see her looking well again .

She did turn up a few days later with a sore foot however

 About her foot, that might be due to an accident that happened while she was driving Cindy and I back to BKK. Was on the 20th of november. Slight fender bender as she was exiting the tollway. The other car did not give right of way, so Apple's vehicle cliped the backside of the other car. TIT

No one injured but funny that all three of us yelled out 'Ooie!' at the same time. + Cindy and I had to inconspicuously disapear before the insurance people showed up.

Did call her later on to ask if she was ok and she told me that she was fine and apologized again for the delay caused. Class act.
