I love Emirates...

I bought and paid for my ticket for next trip back in march on my retuen from los.
flying with Emirates and cost was £647
AS i didnt no my work pattern so far in advance i just choose dates which i wanted.
Now my trip is near i know my work pattern and reliesed with taking one more day holiday at work i would gain 4 more days in Los.
so on going to work today i asked for 1 more day which was given to me. I got home and checked flights against mt original flights and they were the same but 5 days earlier and nearly £200 cheaper.
i contacted Emirates and spoke to a nice lady and told her what i would like to do.
after about 40 minutes on the phone, i now fly out of UK 5 days earlier and all the way home Biz class and been refunded £161
And get this ! they are also putting on a Chauffeur driven car for when i land back in UK to take me home.

now that is service

i perviously used my miles which ive saved as use Emirates every flight for a upgrade.
but they were great today and said and did everything i wanted and even more without asking for it.
i simply wanted to change my outbound flight and expected to pay.
But have money coming back and a Chauffeur driven car to bring me home so save on parking fees also as now have a lift to airport.

just hope England have as much luck as me today.

I always fly with EK - but it's still best to book outside of Dubai as the hub hammers you cost wise. Yet again, J Class DXB-BKK-DXB is over 88,000 baht yet if I book it starting in BKK-DXB-BKK it costs me 55,000 baht.

I think the business class chauffeur pick up has now been extended to 70 miles from the airport - sadly, they don't have the service in Thailand
