The Bell Bus gets lots of press but not much is written about what is commonly called the Jomtien Bus.
It leaves the airport every two hours, an hour before or after the Bell Bus leaves.
It's main stop, is at Thappaya Road(that's the main route from Pattaya to Jomtien) right near Teppesit. When u get off you can cross Thappaya and grab a 10 baht bus to Pattaya, ignore the songthews in the parking lot.
It also makes a few stops on request on Sukhumvit so if one were staying at the LK Pavillion, you'd get off at Pattaya Tai and walk to other side on the overpass and grab a 10 baht bus on Paattaya Tai.
It's only 124 baht. One could debate whether or not it's better than the Bell Bus but I'll take whichever comes first.
You can't reserve seats, it's first come, first served so perhaps more useful coming from rather than going to the airport.
Below is a link but note there is now also a 19:00 bus from the airport that's not on the website.
