    Best Undiscovered Beaches

Seems like the very best beaches from a physical standpoint, such as Patong, get overdeveloped.

What beaches are almost as nice but without the crowds? Any hidden gems out there?

I know a lot of these PD ....but if I mention 'em here they won't be hidden anymore, eh??

write me or PM me for some cool secrets

On pooket there are a few in the far north.....near the airport.....probably 40 mins on the cycle from patong ...... Nai Thon is nice, this pic of Linly was taken there..... the only thing you will encounter is the occassional pig and as you can see, only sand and trees for about 3 miles in both directions.

looking the other way.....Nai Thon is maybe 5 miles from the airport, directly southwest and easy to find if you have a map

same place with Ji posing ........the scenery and solitude  there is quite splendid, and about a mile from here is a small lagoon which looks like Gilligans Island;  VERY private and in fact the Thai fishermen who live there will be quite surprised to see a farang around...... spent many a day there myself, reading under the palm trees in paradise with nothing but the birds for company.

I'm hiding out at my longtime favourite beach in Thailand right now . Like JaiDee I'd hate for this place to be totally overrun with horny BMs, but PigDogg I'll tip you when we next meet.

Life here revolves around late breakfasts, watermelon shakes, fish barbecues and of course the beach. No LB action here, but one rather dull looking Burmese kathoey, who for various reasons I have no desire/chance of getting close to.

All in all it's a terribly dull place for most people to be. Nothing to do but sleep, eat, drink, gaze at the waves, drink some more.

And JaiDee, if you recognize this place do keep it to yourself.

I like tritrang beach if I want to be close to patong, there's a few little beaches between it and paradise beach as well. Tritrang is very rarely busy and only 5 minutes drive. Otherwise, very north end of the island just before the bridge there's a few km of non-busy beaches. I'll have to pile a few of the C&D ladies into the truck for a photo session one day.
I couldn't give a shit how long it is until you're next holiday- I live here

sounds like we are living parallel lives, and no, I don't recognize that beach but know many like it

nothing wrong with terribly dull ...... hell, I had enough excitement in my life between the ages of 35 and 45 to last five or 6 lifetimes; sitting back doing nothing except watching the wind blowing the palm trees is where it's at, IMO.

All three of these are in the deep south. The first two are the tip of Lipe, and the last one is an uninhabited out-island one not far from Taratao.

Been doing a bit of sailing in Phang Nha Bay recently- it's great to pick a small island or beach without tour boats and drop the anchor for a bit. I'll start getting the camera out when I'm back from my road trip.

Turn right out of the Villa and keep going till you hit the intersection then turn left after the Hyatt and go down to the beach - totally empty of any other customer - thai or farang. That is the real Hua Hin beach.

Next time I will show you it when we pick up some more sand for the filters !!!!!!!!!!!

                              Cheers
