  • Tailors in Phuket

Can't believe I'm considering doing this to myself, but anyone know a less-than-painful tailor in Phuket? Plans for visiting one in Pattaya haven't materialized, so I find myself needing to go to one in probably the worst place for it.

    Any recommendations would be appreciated.

    Cheers.

What the world needs is a world-class tailor employing nothing but hot ladyboys.

That would give new meaning to the term "measuring my inseam"

            Farangbah,

Peach Tailor in Patong is one of the best tailors on the island.
He's not very cheap but I've always been happy with his bespoke suits/shirts.
The owner (Khun Jaroon) is a genuinely nice bloke.

Google 'Peach Tailor Phuket' for address and further details

I am making my first trip there in January. I have been told by a couple of non-BM's who have been to Phuket that Instyle tailors are very good.

              http://www.phukettailor-instyle.com/

As stated in the last post they will not be the cheapest. They are true bespoke tailors and I am told you will get great quaility. They have quoted me a Zenga style two button suit would go for between Baht 5,750, Baht 9,000 and Baht 11,500 depending on quaility of fabric. This would normally be a $1000+ suit in North America.

Jaspal tailors off Bangla are fine (Soi Patong Resort, opposite Soi Seadragon) you won't get ripped off there, I go along with Peach as well. Jaspal also has a good Indian restaurant at the end of the Soi (Navrang Mahal)   Jaspal's a mate of mine and I'll PM you a code word for him if required :
I couldn't give a shit how long it is until you're next holiday- I live here

                              farangbah,
I agree with xploring, I used InStyle last May for a Hugo Boss style suit, extra trousers and 2 x shirts. Great service, including a beer or two and will pick u up from your hotel.
