Chiang Mai action? Is there any?

Hi to everybody,
i am thinking to go to Chiang Mai for 4 days on my next trip and i wnat to know if some BM can help me with some advice about hotel and night life.

On web i see that Porn Ping Hotel is in a good position but i am not sure.
About night life i read something about Marina bar.

I try to search it on the forum but i did'nt find a lot.

It's all true. Porn Ping is a good location. The disco there is a major cruise spot, and the adjacent areas of the night market are also busy.

Marina Bar is the only dedicated ladydude bar in town. It's tiny, but the dozen or so bars in its complex each host an LB or two. or three. It's as much of a scene as there is there.

All told, it's a lot smaller than you get in the other major destinations. The North is famous for breeding beautiful LBs, but the ones who have anything going for themselves seem to go direct to BKK or Pattaya. What you're left with in CM town are the dopeheads and scrawnies. My experience, anyway.

In the same complex as marina is Shakespeare Bar with a few lurkers about. I didn't see many of the streetwalkers last time I was there- not sure if the cops have chased them off. there used to be a couple of nice ones hanging around on Loi Kroh road near the Temple.

I really like CM. I usually stayed at the Pornping and the good thing was that I got the phone numbers of the gals and then called them and they came straight to my room. ST was 500 and most freelancers were not that keen on LT.

When I was there last time in Jan. 09. freelancers showed up quite late. Some were on Loi Kroh as already mentioned but quite a few were further down near the canal, either at the corner on the opposite side or around the gas station when turning left.

As for hotel I recently heard that the Raming Lodge might be a better option - no in-room safe at the PP, but their breakfast buffet is quite good.
Raming Lodge is even a better location for lb-hunting but then it doesn't matter that much - both hotels are very centrally located.

When are you planning on going gufooo?

I think that i will be there next Jannuary for 2-3 nights.

I am very kikiat when i am on holiday and the hotel position in very important for me.

Yes there are enough diversions in CM, OK it's not Pattaya.
You have the one all L'b bar, Marina's also in the same complex try Wooden bar and Shamrock, a mixture of LB's and GG's.
The freelancers in Loi Kroh as mentioned above.
For day time fun have a massage at Suk Sabai on Sri Donchai (5 min walk from Loi Kroh) The owner is Tou, she used to be a big earner at Cassanova went by the name of Christine. As well as being a good fuck she is actually a good masseur, and a nice person to boot

Things move around on a regular basis

Marina bar can be full of ladyboys or have none its hit and miss there shamrock bar has plenty of freelancers that travel through if there is prospective customers they hang around then its wander the bars for the odd ladyboy the marine bar at the far end of loy kroh opposite linda bar used to have a few femboys

streetwalkers generally dont start appearing to much latter in the evening theres a lively scene from the 7-11 to the amora hotel from midnight onwards but these ladyboys are maininly after thais that cruise in there cars theres the odd beauty here and there but by that time in the evening i already have company and i dont do streetwalkers

Marina can have what can be described as a volatile personality and bill padding and violence from her are not unusal just something to be aware of

she padded my bill one time and i have known her for 10 years  +

I agree with Marina - one night in the bar she was all sweetnss and light, 2 hours later I got a really shitty text out of knowhere ( yes I KNOW it was on my phone ). Net outcome- 1 less customer for the future!!
