Koh Samet... Yes or No?

Hi Folks I am planning my next holiday now and I want in any case, after Koh Chang. And I've considered for a few days Koh Samet view. As it looks to me what can you recommend or Koh Samet says your not worth it. Thanks for the answers

ah, the lads get on my case cause I've repeated so many times about my favorite Samet hotel they think I own it.


Just put the word Samet and search on Topic Titles. You can do the same for Samed.

Btw-the K in Ko (or Koh) Samet (or Samed) is prounced as much like a G as a K.

I am with PD on this place, it's paradise and very close to the mainland.

  I prefer some other places further off,  but this place is close to BKK and Pattaya and very nice......white sand beaches and if you go really far down the coast you can be as alone as you want to be, with or without a date.

    I also went here for 3 or 4 days on my first-ever trip to Thailand back in 1998, it's a cool place and still relatively un-discovered by the masses.

Hello Jaidee i will go to Koh Samet for 3 or 4 Days after this trip i go to Koh Chang for 7 or 8 Days.
I let Surprise me. At the moment i dont know if i go with or without a LB.

budhas, don't prepay the full amount for the hotel in case you get bored and change your mind. Keep the flexibility open if you want to shorten your stays at either Koh Samet or Koh Chang.

You should aware if you want lb action it is better to bring your own when visiting these islands.

Ko Samet is very good for 3 nights, giving two full days in-between. Much more and you'll start to get bored.

This is extremely good advice.

Additionally, only promise any ladyboy you bring a couple nights. If you're hitting it off then u can extend.
