Guitar shops in Thailand

Any recommendations (please don't tell me chatucha) on where I can pick up strings for an electric and acoustic guitar, a brass slide a small combo amp? I live in nearby no-mans land and need to reload so I can rock the cashbah and get a trash blues band started.

There was a music shop on the second road, more or less across the road from Soi Post Office, it should be still there on account of the number of bands playing around Patts. If it's not there anymore, then I suggest simply asking the guy's playing in the bars where they get their gear from.

Every major mall has these shops... Seacon Square has at least two reputable guitar and piano dealers and plenty of other guitar shops to boot...

If you come out of Panthip plaza and turn left there's a great guitar shop about 100ish yards down on the left hand side of the road. I always stock up and get my strings and bits and bobs in there when i'm in LOS as i find it's cheaper than the shops in the malls.
The staff speak pretty good English too.

This I gotta hear , you will face some stiff competition on walking street though .
