I tried a search but didn't come up with an easy answer about condoms and without starting a new thread:

What are your favorite condoms?

I have used a few, some good and some bad, I hate the damn things period but with the girls here, you have to use them or your just a nuts. So what are the best to use to get the best feeling overall.

I think a good idea is to get your mini-bar removed as soon as you check into your hotel. They normally do it right away. Then you got your fridge empty, for your own stuff, after you pop in a 7/11.

Nhscotsman, I'd support a new thread on that topic, I think it would have a lot of interest (and people won't know to look here for the info). I don't have a definitive answer but I've read recently about a new condom from Japan that's not made of latex. They're apparently very pricey (I think I remember something like $10 per condom) but they are as strong and safe as latex but feel like absolutely nothing is on your member, and transfer heat very well.

Interesting. Would have thought for sure that would be a good thread (I'd certainly want to read it!). Ok - I did some more research and apparently the hype about some japanese super-condom may have been just that. From what I've read, they make polyurethane condoms that are thinner than latex and just as strong, but unfortunately they all appear to be made to fit Japanese men. Thus, it would prolly barely fit over the head of most western peni (isn't that the plural form for "penis") and would prove very uncomfortable - you'd need the strength and dexterity of two thai LB's to be able to yank it down to the base.

I have some "kimono" brand condoms here that I was told by the clerk were very thin and popular. I'll experiment with it later and see if it's any good.

I'll also try changing the title of this thread to incorporate the condom test.

Tried the kimono, it's a little tight but felt ok as far as a condom goes. I'll have to try some true "field testing" and report back.

Oddly, I was unable to change/edit my original post to incorporate the condom thread into the title. Guess I'm not allowed for whatever reason.

This is my point exactly. I'm not tiny in size, so trying to find something that is both workable and still thin enough to still get the feeling we are all after.

but since this thread may be followed more closely by newbies...

if you're smart enough to use condoms (which, btw, i recommend you buy before you depart for thailand -- along with lipsticks, silk panties, and individual godiva chocolates), don't defeat the condom's purpose by lubing up with baby oil (which will deteriorate the latex).

always use ky/water-based lubes with the condoms and save the baby oil for that post-coital massage
then, rinse and repeat.

Further, I would point out that putting some water based lube (like KY) on your member prior to applying the condom makes a huge difference. Don't want to apply so much that the condom slides off, but I've never had that as a problem. ANyway, lube INSIDE the condom makes a world of difference in how it feels.
