  • Flights to BKK from USA

Hey guys trying to plan my trip in March and it gets tougher and tougher. No more long haul flights from New York or LAX to BKK. Any suggestions? any deals out there?

Go to Kayak's website, input your tentative dates and voila, a shitload of options will pop up. From the Left Coast either L.A. or SFO, there are numerous flights. www.kayak.com

Before moving to Thailand for good, I used United all the time and they were always the cheapest from Boston area (I came from Maine actually). I always found calling "on Sunday", they were always the cheapest and on SUNDAY they always spent the extra time trying to get the best deal for me.
I just tried this past weekend to get a RT ticket Bangkok to Maine for around Christmas for a week and the cheapest I could find anywhere was $2800.00 U.S. or around 100,000 baht, so I said forget it I'll stay here for Christmas.
I can do a lot with 100,000 baht.
(thinking) Hmmmmm......Vivian and I may have to spend the week together....hahaha.

Try Japan Airlines or ANA (All Nippon Air) website, they often have good flights via tokyo. You can also try EVA, malaysian air, Cathay Pacific, etc... All of these carries often have specials that are only posted on their website and cheaper than what you would find using a travel search.

From LAX to BKK go to EVA air's site directly, you might find prices cheaper there than what is shown on Kayak for EVA air.

Yep...EVA is almost always my choice as well from the west coast...either LAX or SFO...and I find that the fare is always less if I book direct...My last minute booking on the 14th was a little over 1000 usd all in...Plus the cabin attendants are hot...

                            Try:

                            http://www.skyauction.com/vacation/thailand

Sometimes you can steal a bargain fare on here and ticket is good for a few months or more. Just read the fine print as to any additional fees since these can add up so bid accordingly. Happy Travels!
