Royal Cremation of King's Sister

I have read on this weeks Skickmanbangkok and from some people I chat to online that there could be up to 5 dry days in November between 14 and 19 for the cremation of the Kings sister.  Has anyone else heard any news on this??

The cremation is in November, not sure of the exact dates, in fact, I have seen different dates published in newspapers, etc...
Everyone assumes it will be dry for some/all the days, but nothing official (of course)

The cremation will be on Sunday 16 Nov, I read - so I guess Burenboy/Stickman is quite correct on those dates (14/19).   I must look up the flights to Beer Lao!

The cremation ceremony is the week that the Elephant Festival in Surin was suppose to take place.  They moved it to the weekend of the 21st-23rd of November to accomodate the wishes of the Thai Royal Family.  You can expect the Thai people throughout the country to pay their final respects and Buddha help anybody who tries to sell liquor.

"It has been indicated that alcohol sales may be prohibited and bars closed on 14 - 16 November as a mark of respect at the time of the cremation of the oldest sister of HM The King. This is not confirmed, but is an indication from some Bangkok police."

Given that I am arriving in Bangkok on 14 November and leaving for Samui on the 16th, could someone who had been through Election dry days give me some advice - if the bars are closed, how can I meet the ladies? Do they hang about outside their bars, outside the Nana Plaza or where or do I just stay in my hotel room, sad, lonely and sober?

Now this may be pushing my luck a little bit, but I don't have the phonenumbers of any Bangkok LBs. Would anyone care to share with me the numbers of relatively non-screwed up LBs, with boobs and the ability to get hard?

I know that the bars will be shut, but I will happily meet up for inexpensive food with any BM in town, particularly if they have provided me with phone numbers.... Or even if not.
