Seeing how phuket and samui are islands, i have voted chiang mai. Absolute fucking great place, although no scene of note you can scratch the woodwork and out they would probably crawl! Love bangkok for being bangkok!Pattaya is on the fixture list but that is all!

Been to Bangkok, Pattaya and Phuket. Of the 3, Bangkok wins hands down.

I love Hua Hin as a city, but the Ladyboy scene is really quite limited. I was suprised that people picked it without mentioning golf (it isvery good here for that) I am in HH now and have been back and forth from BKK several times and have to say that outside of the cabaret show and a very small number of girls scattered in Bars the picking is meager at best. Am I missing LB hangouts that others have found?

BTW there is now a direct van service from Pattaya to HH, you might considering "ordering in" for a few days.

Phuket Town is on Phuket,

but most people think of Phuket as Patong

If you sent all of BKK's hottest gg's & lb's to Chang Mai, then picked up that entire city (surrounding mountains & forests included) and dropped it all next to the beach at Nai Harn, then Chang Mai just might replace BKK as my favorite. In the meantime BKK will remain my favorite city in the world.
