*Pig - don't know about video on demand. I never watch movies on airplanes, just stuff my iPod plugs in my ears and read. Frankly I don't recall noticing that there was anything special about the ANA entertainment system, but on the whole the outfitting of the cabins is very up-to-date so I imagine the system is current.
*Snick - I've had pretty good luck redeeming TG mileage on ANA. They seem rather more liberal about it than US air carriers. You have to go through TG, of course, but I have always been turned down when they asked for UA space for me and almost always have gotten the ANA space I asked for.
