First time I flew to Oz, it was a Qantas 'All-Male' age 40+ cabin crew. How queer was that?  Answer ... 'Very' as it turned out  

My introduction to Business Class (Thai Airways BKK-LHR) was thanks to my travel insurance company. And to a very helpful doctor at Bangkok Hospital .... who said that a 'fit to fly' certificate would depend on my accident-damaged leg being elevated on my flight home! Top bloke  But once you've tried Business Class, it's infuriatingly addictive.  

BTW, how do so many guys I know get the upgrades?  OK, gold cards ... any other 'good ideas'?  Probably not going to share with us!

I always fly EVA Premium Laurel from London unless I need to stop in Hong Kong, I then take Virgin Upper Class to HK and Emirates Business from HK to BKK. Eva's good , nice girls and flat beds. The new Emirates are good too, huge TV's, that's television screens not fat tranny's. The best part though is someone else always pays or the flight

Without a doubt BA is on a par at least with SG, if not better in Biz and first

However at nearly twice the price of EVA, they will struggle to sell in these tough markets.

Only flew BA Club once , was good but I prefer either the raunchier Virgin girls or the refined Asian girls on my flight. Would like to try Singapore Airlines but have not had reason yet. I did 10 flights to BKK last year on EVA so ended up with a Diamond card, haven't tested it's usefulness yet with upgrades etc as I have always been booked in business. I have been on a Gold Virgin card for years and this has helped in the past with bookings ,upgrades etc . I have seen a general decline over the years in Upper Class with cutbacks on trivial things like the amenity kit. It used to be a plush bag designed by Ozwald Boateng now it's a shoe bag with a pair of socks. Not that I ever used them, I have about 50 of them rotting in a cupboard at home. Maybe I will ebay them one day.
Just looked at ebay and people sell everything they pick up on the plane including the sleep suits
I probably have enough crap to sell to pay for a shorttime

Yes quite, i had the same experience and would never fly with these cunts again... or BA...

the worlds worst airlines for sure..One Gay twit service member flew into a rage because my Buddy wouldnt watch the safety rubbish lecture that they used to put you through...boy did he throw a wobbler or what!. I mean if theres a problem just wrench the lifejacket of some other sap ..

Gay service crew eh...The last thing most Businessmen want it some limp wristed freckled poof checking his seat belt is fastened every five minutes and telling him  not to use the toilets in turbulance

I dont care if the plane is plunging down on fire towards Davy Jones locker.. i must use the fucking toilet...Unless hand luggage is seen floating in mid air the turbulance warnings are ignored as a rule  on EVA...thank God

Before I moved to Bangkok, I started out economy and ended up business because they always upgraded me because I came here so often.

I used to call United Airlines on Sunday afternoon EST (always the best day for searching, they claim it's the slowest day of the week and they can take time to search for deals) and told them to get me the cheapest flight they could find me. If it was cheaper to strap me to the wing for the flight, do it. The girls working Sunday always have a better sense of humor too. I always got the better deal calling on Sundays.

I always looked at the first class people on the flights as I walked off and I always thought "You paid 10 times more than I did and you're not here any quicker."

and maybe we arrive at same time, but after an easy flight, 8 hrs sleep, good food, you dont waste a day or 2 of your holiday getting over jetlag...
