Ooops - not from Uk but from Helsinki. Scheduled service time is 9hr 45 min but they did it both times in 9 hours when I flew them before. Delays are kinda rare at Helsinki, given that it was the only flight in or out at around midnight when it left. Very nice experience as well - tinpot little airport but extremely efficient and the London flight I was in came in at the pier next to the outgoing BKK flight. They reckon 30 minute transfer time is typical in Helsinki and I can believe it. The flight then goes straight over Russia and down as against European airlines going over Europe, India etc.
Thai Airways just released limited seats from Brisbane only for June/July/ August 07 with free return to Phuket. Total including all tax is $785.00 aus return. I booked and payed for mine at Flight Centre yesterday.I am only during 4 days in Phuket then 34 in Pattaya from 25.
(katoeylover @ Feb. 04 2007,19:47) 34 days in Pattaya? Braver man than me!!
Once and while we all need to live dangerously. I intend to take avery large book and the upside is I am staying at the Dusitt for some of that time so i can hide and keep a low profile
(jhcal26 @ Feb. 06 2007,10:04) You guys retired or what? I get 10 days a year, if that.
Most Aussies get 4 weeks annual leave a year. Usually get long service after 10 years also. Add in public holidays like Easter and Anzac day and if you went around April could stay for quite while.

BKK for 17 nites, does life get any better
I always give a hugh thumbs up to EVA Airlines. They have great fares if you can be flexible in your travel dates. Sometimes I take a chance and wait until two weeks before I have to head back to LOS and they always offer hot-fare specials. I love their Economy Deluxe Class seats, a lot like others business class for a fraction of the cost.
