Search on "bangla" road. Also search for "Soi Crocodile" (Tequila Bar) and "Cocktails and Dreams". What to look out for... If it's your first trip look out for everything. There is a lot going on.

Bangla Rd is a reasonably safe area, but normal cautions apply, especially if you plan on taking a freelancer of which there are MANY in Bangla Rd. If it's your first trip it would be better to take a girl from a bar until you sort what's what. YMMV.

Tapioca Are you now providing ''proper'' bedding as opposed to just a top and bottom sheet ?
Last time I checked out after just one day because of this I do like to sleep under a light quilt or even a blanket.
The cleaner did offer me a small single quilt but it was not satisfactory.

I am not sure if I had the hotel when you were here as I do not remember anyone leaving after 1 night because of bedding. We do have sheets on all beds and comforters available if you like. I hope to meet you here in Patong Beach in the future and you are welcome to visit the facility to inspect everything here!

The Place to Stay is located in the Royal Paradise Complex (where the Royal Paradise Hotel is located) on Rat-U-Thit Road - 1st road over from Beach Road.

It is very close to Soi Bangla where the majority of the bars are located.

It's about the fourth place in on the left from the "in" guard gate almost opposite the LionTChai Internet place which is THE best Internet place in Patong, and opposite the Fuji camera shop which is THE best place to get pictures developed. Tell them in advance and they will print "anything".

I always go to LionChai for my e-mails but I did not look around and never notice this hotel. I must admit that seeing the pictures of the rooms is not like looking at the outside of a building, if I never saw those pictures I would not have think to go there.

I would just like yo give THE PLACE TO STAY a good wrap, i stayed for 10 days back in september 2006 and found it more than accomodating. Its close to Bangla rd and the owner is a great guy. He was doing the rooms up when i were there so im sure the place is now an even better place to stay.
