I suppose I am guilty of "lurking" but only because I havent had anything to contribute, but I really enjoy all the posts and when I go to LOS I wont be asking any silly questions because you guys have just about covered everything I want to know, so the only question i will be asking is who will meet me for a beer when I get there.

Dusit Laguna: Open with some repairs underway
Pansea Bay-the Chedi and Amanpuri: Normal their shared beach is in pristine condition
Kamala Beach;
most resorts out of action
Patong: Many hotels and resorts closed. Plenty of other options.
Relax Bay-Le Meridien: To reopen next month.
Karon Beach:Normal, beach is even cleaner and more beautiful since the tsunami
Kata beach-Club Med, Kata beach resort, Mom Tris Boathouse: Open
Nai Harn Beach: Le Royal MeridienYacht Club: Normal.
