This week has been Gay Pride week in Patong.
A pretty lowkey affair, with events taking place in soi Paradise.
I plucked up courage and ventured in last night.
Mostly hordes of muscular blokes wearing singlets and trying to look cool while mincing around with a bottle of water in their hands. Lots of thai pooftas in white shorts. Very few lesbians (dammit). But 1 or 2 likely looking ladies.
I'll try and catch the parade along Beach Road this afternoon, which should be more productive.
