Monday Night:

A quiet night, marred by an incident ivolving Pat, of all people!
A rather drunk guy took her upstairs to the ST hotel, and after he came out of the shower, accused her of stealing the 100,000Bt he had (ffs!). Pat sent an SOS to NingNong who went to the room with the hotel security, where the guy repeated the accusation. NingNong explained that in 7 years we have never had a problem with Pat, and that she had called the police who would search both her, and the room.
As they arrived, he suddenly remembered he had stashed it in the aircon unit. Hugely embarrassed, he paid off the police, the hotel, and doubtless Pat too, for the wrongful accusation.
pat, being totally professional managed to remain friendly with the guy, and they later returned to the bar for another drink.
But people: dont take that amount of cash out with you! You will get robbed, and could easily get killed for that sort of money! Take out only what you need and lock the rest away in the hotel safe!

Good to see things worked out with Pat and the checks and balances do work. What a twat though for going out with that amount of cash, he was lucky he did take someone from a bar though. If a freelancer had found it she'd be half way back to Isaan!! I hope Pat was amply compensated for the false accusation, loss of custom whilst it was being sorted and the slur on her character. One for the wall of shame possibly.
