That is just crazy prices...(jimbo34 @ May 12 2010,17:27) I was chatting to the owner of Wet Dreams Bar in soi Tiger - he has just been presented with the demand for his new 3 year lease: 3.6 million baht key money, and 50,000 per month rent! He told them to shove it, and he'll quit when his current lease expires. Unless the management in soi Tiger get a reality check, the whole soi will die!

 , i'd almost try and get hold of a bar in the new complex and sit on it until Bangla eventually kills itself. (of course crunch some desperate guy who is already taking a hiding there)
From my observations the is a lot of money from Europe spent in Phuket and with the current issues in Europe... the numbers will be well down for an extended period.
The next year and a half will be ordinary to say the least.
I can see a rapid demise to the overpriced Bangla bars.Comment

All the girls down Soi Croc absolutely despise her (and it ain't just jealousy cuz she's number one in the bar).
It's interesting -- I had just assumed "star fish" was our term, but they know it and use it when talking about her.
