batman, many thanks for the excellent photos you have posted of the ladies! I think that your photos of Oh are some of the best that have been posted of her. The investment in the new camera was an excellent decision!
Of course continuing thanks to Jim for his postings as well, but good to see a different perspective on the ladies!

i know it may sound stupid....but i think that buying the new camera made me an better photografer....(rxpharm @ Apr. 26 2011,01:40) batman, many thanks for the excellent photos you have posted of the ladies! Batman, I agree with you! With a pocket quick shooter you just grab it out of your pocket and push the buttom. With an DSLR there is a lot more going on and a lot more to play with! Each shot becomes a possible masterpiece! A moment frozen in time that can be saved forever. With all of the different lenses your photographic composition becomes a real labor of love. Keep shooting, and I for one will keep enjoying! Some folks buy a new camera & assume it will do all the work. Unless they consider what they are doing, they are still going to get poor pics.
Batman, you have really taken to your Canon & I congratulate you... again.
You seem to have a natural eye for composing your pictures & the other thing I admire, you hold the thing still while you take the shot.
It cannot be underestimated how important that is. I have been going through all my old photos & of the 100 or so with me in them taken over the last 30 years, about 2 are any good. The rest were taken by friends, strangers, waiters, Thai girls, etc... & they are nearly all ruined by camera shake.
Most people blame the focus & think they have a faulty camera because the focus isn't sharp. It never is, it's always unsteady hands that spoil more photos than anything else.
Keep posting Batman... please...

The bigger the lense the faster the shutter speed to avoid camera shake! Either that or a tripod/monopod!Seize the day because tomorrow is never promised!
