Today's weather forecast! Partly cloudy breezy and continued cold. Mid-winter-like high temps in the lower 30s. Lake effect snow showers possible, especially north of the loop along and just inland of the shoreline. Wind chills will run in the lower 20s as gusty northeast winds 12 to 22 mph flow off the cold (39-degree) lake waters and combine with readings in the mid 20s to lower 30s. Partly cloudy overnight. Winds diminish somewhat and temperatures drop into the lower 20s well inland after midnight.

Jimbo can I come and suffer the drizzle and rain!? Hell I will even do my best Gene Kelly impressionof singing outside the bar! Oh well I picked Chicago to live in. See you soon! I hope.

fortunately a kind BM from the other board, was paying - it was out of my league! Jaws dropped as we entered the dining room, as you can imagine! Two stunning, 6 ft LBs on our short-arsed arms, lol!

Tuesday night:
My sincere thanks to the array of BMs who made it to the bar last night, despite the atrocious weather.
As i write this, we're in our 7th straight day of continuous rain, with many accidents on Patong Hill. The sooner they build the tunnel, the better - although at the pace the thais work, that's 15 years away!
I normally have a panoramic view of Patong, with the sea in the background. This was the grey view yesterday afternoon, and a couple of shots of soi sainamyen on the way to the bar:

With it pouring down, it was a virtual "lock-in" for those clients kind enough to venture to C & Ds - although there were some compensations:

Went to Kata Noi in the car, Johnny. Too fookin dangerous on the roads to go by m/bike.


Weds Night
The rain stopped during opening hours, allowing the tourists to get out and about. I think most bars had a much-needed uplift last night.
