Johnny: yes she's still here. I'm not helping with new clothes, as i think a free roof over her head is pretty good. And yes, customers have helped with the shopping. She's earning good money now, but its amazing how quickly her family seem to have developed the usual problems - faulty roof, younger brother no job (really? well fancy that - a thai boy cant keep a job!), family health issues, etc etc - the usual thai bullshit for "Give me some money!"

Jimbo, you hit the nail on the head there....but it's the exact same shit you will get in the Philippines....I think the retirement plan in these countrys is to have as many girls as possible and send them out to make money

Any Filipino man working has no daughters.
