I agree with Torurot, A camera is nothing more than a light tight box with bells and whistles on it.  It is always the composition of the photograph that grabs our attention!  You are doing great with the composition of the photographs.  I love this shot!  She is looking off camera but you still captured a 3/4 profile of her.  The lighting is good as well.  Wheather you shot this photograph in program mode or not does not matter.  It is the composition that sells the shot!  Great work!

sorry to inform you.... but i was told last night by Oh , that Eye will go to temple for 1 year (granmother died) so dont expect any recent pictures of her for the next year

but luckily i have a lot of pics of her not yet posted....
