likely not either, this is a National holiday to show respect for the King. In previous years all bars were closed.

BTW the 5th is the actual birthday, but this year it is on a Saturday, so it is being observed on Dec 7th as a work holiday.
No clue as to what this means to bar closings, closed 5, closed 7, closed 5+7 ? ? ?

23 Oct is Chulalongkorn Day- can't remember if its a closure one though. Always a way around the 5th of Dec but you'd think he'd like us all to have a beer in his honour! Stock the frige and make arrangements the day before.
