Why not label the board "For Forum members use only" & leave it at C&Ds for all of us to borrow?

I was thinking about that....what do you say Jimbo ? - care to take possession of my boogie board. I'll have the misses drop it off.

Snick, you just brought back some old memories!  

I remember exactly a year ago, in BKK, on my way to Phuket you warned me about the rip tides there, and that you wouldn't otherwise know as it's not posted or publicized at all.  And I remember then flopping around the Kata Noi surf and feeling not wholly safe and seeing some guys with boards and wishing I had one.

I had forgotten about the above because in December it was quite tame.  But it's that time of year again, and as you know (good seeing you again the other night), I'll be back next week.  

So, I'd love to make use of Snick's For-Forum-Members-Only Cocktails & Dreams Boogie Board, if I may...

Well, another 3 newbies last night, to replace the3 that started the night before but failed to show last night! They're coming in and out faster than the trains at Paddington Station!

This is Emma, formerly of Alexander bar, soi Crocodile

The third one, whose name i forget, asked me not to take pics for fear of upsetting her mum! She's a bit chubby, so probably won't last the course anyway.

I was the most hansum man in Patong last night , except with Sonya! It was pay day, and Sonya failed to collect because she lost all her money in fines for lateness or bad behaviour !

As a postscript, we were forced to close at 2 am last night because of another shoot-out, the third in a week! This time it was in soi Rico, opposite soi Lion.

But it was only thais killing thais, over money or property, so I was aggrieved that this insignificant event should get in the way our opening times!

I'll tell the misus to leave the board with Jimbo, make sure you buy him a drink when you collect the board for 'rent' , and drop it off when you are done.

If you need to buy one, only place I found with good ones was Toys'r'us (not Katoys'r'us !) at Jungle Ceylon

About the rip tides, they are BAD this year. 33 Drowning already !
There is one spot on Patong beach with a life guard, its a little bit north of when you enter the beach from soi Bangla.

I'm a very good swimmer and I could feel it really tugging at me at one time, I went to tell the life guards and they were already changing the warnings from Yellow to Yellow+Red.

You are not alone there Jimbo, Patricia has the longest, leanest look I have seen in a long time. I approve.

In fact, to avoid any trouble you may incur from shagging the staff, I am prepared to stand in for you. It is the least I can do, give Patricia a full road test & report back with my findings.

I don't know what more a fellow BM can do? Consider it my small contribution to improving the standard of C&Ds...
