Actually the Yorkshire Inn or rather Yorkshire Hotel as it has been rebranded, is a fabulous place now that it has been completely refurbished and extended. I've always got on ok with the owner (Paul from England) however, I know he has made a bad name for himself on some of the forums due to violent behaviour  I have not seen that side of him.

Summer Breeze (nearly opposite) is owned by a friend of mine (Bill from Las Vegas) he is an absolute Gent and nothing is too much trouble, although the rooms would not be nearly as nice as the YH.

I don't stay in hotels, I live in Patong. I go along with Pentire and recommend the Summer Breeze, as previously stated. His perspective on the new rooms is not what I have heard from others who have stayed there recently but we can agree to differ on that one. I have only ever heard good reports about the Summer Breeze rooms both through face to face discussions with people who stay there and on other forums, which unfortunately get edited when anything adverse is said about the Y I! The owner of the YI had a bad reputation with the locals for his unacceptable behaviour. We have a different perspecive on him than 'frequent fliers'. This is just my personal opinion but I would have nothing to do with the place on principle.

Not seen but I rush past Soi Croc at the moment as Witnee has taken a fancy to me for some reason . I'll try and have a covert recce sometime.

Having done the business with her, he invited me into his room to check the goods out......very very impressive and she knows it   While prancing around the room in her G-String, she amused us both by hardly taking her eyes off the mirror reflection,explaining to us that she was number one in Soi Crocodile and her body is perfect.  Nothing like having a high opinion of yourself.
So the following night I spotted Lela in Soi Crocodile bought her a brandy and asked her to take Friday night off and stay in my room as I was having 24 hours off the sauce, my first dry day in 12
