Only thing I'd say about Tootsies is it's actually a long way from Bangla/Jungceylon area. I went for a 'walk' there from Jungceylon area one afternoon and it took nearly half an hour to get there (and 3rd degree burns from a cloudless sky!). Looked really close on the map in this post, but it's a lot further...Worth it when you get there though!

it is quite exactly one kilometer away from jungceylon.
that would mean you walk at a whopping 2 Km/hour ?

I agree Mr M- tis a 10 minute walk for me from bangla, unlees i Moonwalk in reverse!!! OK I'm sweaty when I get there but who cares- they have a bath! max B40- on a mb taxi fvrom bangla

Yep its too far to walk in the heat - take a motorbike taxi,. You wont arrive looking like you've just got out the shower. Also your energy levels will be preserved, and you're gonna need energy in there!

Both my visits I walked there and back from the Aspery Hotel which is opposite the Andaman Club resort and took me about 20 minutes.

I think somebody had removed the disclaimer from my fold out map that once stated "Not to Scale". It was definitely alot further than I'd anticipated.

I walked from 'The Place to Stay', and despite being relatively fit was sweating like a haemophiliac on Warfarin when I arrived.

I guess it's not a big issue given you'll soon be in a bath tub being revived.
