Tangmo, Phuket

Phuket beckons again in a few weeks and, much as I enjoy C&D and Soi Crocodile, I wouldn't mind checking out some femboy action.

I seem to remember some discussion aboout Tangmo before...so far as I know it's a gay/TV CLUB (Yes, I know, not my scene either) but apparently it might be a stopping off point for young (not too young) femboys.

Anyone know if this place is worth a visit and if it's safe ? I only ask about safety because I spent some time with a ladyboy from the Tequila Bar the last time I stayed in Patong....she lived in the Paradise Complex and insisted on walking me back to Rat-U-Thit road (after the event) because, according to her, it wouldn't be safe for me to go alone....then again maybe she just didn't want me to meet anybody else !

Paradise Complex is safe.

No reason not to go the shows if you enjoy that type of thing but if your intention is to meet the performers the best way is to meet them in the early evening when they're outside advertsing the show and get their numbers for later. It's not that easy to meet the prformers at the show.

Most of the patrons are gay guys who want to meet the boys not the performers. Uncle Charlies is a similar place about 30 seconds away.

I visited Tangmo a couple of weeks ago and it is good to see the show at 10:30 PM. The place is a pick up place for gay boys, but the show is all Katoeys and most are nice. The Paradise Complex is totally safe, I live here, I think your friend just didn't want you to meet someone else! If you need accomodation, please look at www.theplacetostayphuket.com
