Hey Stevie, that's a curious choice for Miss Patong. I would think that a beauty contest is about beauty before personality.

You admit yourself that she isn't the best looking girl on the island, at the risk of sounding shallow, only those who have spent time in her company can appreciate how nice she is.

Anyway, it is up to others to pick their own winner from the bevy of beauty available. Maybe enough of Pat's fans can get her over the line.

This contest won't be going anywhere until Boarhog or Jimbo post the pics of the candidates. I don't see a lot of point in waiting for guys to name those we have seen in the Phuket threads, the babes naturally stand out.

You bring up valid points Pacman, but remember its each persons choice, and those of us who have been to Phuket have a more factors going into our vote rather than just the face and body value.

Its going to vary from each forum member why they pick one over another. I can't help but factor in personal experiences in my vote, and their is nothing wrong with that. My miss Patong most likely wont be the consencous Miss Patong. However it will be the forums Miss Patong for at least a year. If she can't uphold all the responsabilities then the 1st runner-up would take her spot.

Pat certainly has her intangables and represents my 1st ladyboy I was with in Phuket and was also my first this last trip. she is a lot of fun and goes the extra mile, however do I cast her my vote? Probably not. However she is worthy of a nomination for sure.

Its all worth discussion and photos will surface of new talent like Maggie, so I really don't want to rush the poll. This also gives time for people to go back through threads before just a vote for flavour of the month.

I would also like to make this first pole a preliminary poll. Where we have several nominees that are voted on, then after a month of so, we take the top 4 vote getters and create a second poll with just those four semi-finalist and then vote for them to crown miss Patong 2009.

Getting to the semi-final stage with this lot of talent is quite an accomplishment. I'm sure the girls will put this on their resumes....more like the forum guys will put it on theirs when they bf them, feeling good they are taking home a runner - up or even Miss Ladyboy forums Miss Patong.

After I post the 1st poll, I will post a photo of each nominee, but people should be pretty familar with each of them by this time anyway.

I will try to make it as fair as possible, shouldn't be any political leanings here. sure a lot of guys have their favorites and will vote that way, but when it comes down to the final four they may have to vote for some one else if their personal favorite didn't make it. Lets hope they do take the time to cast their vote.

The Dragon Lady Miss Patong 1976 still at it as she gets on the podium with Aum. due to insurance purposes our age cut-off is 45 gentleman so The Dragon lady has been ineligable for a decade or so.

Funny, when I spent time in C&D she wasn't around, or if she was, I was too   to notice...      

I remember Nick, who I thought owned the place, he wasn't very chatty. I remember the big girl (Roxy?) who was a very accomplished magician, she kept me entertained many nights with her clever sleight of hand & other tricks.

The resident babe was Pim who I intended to barfine except she never rolled up to work before midnight, by which time I had made other arrangements.

And of course, who could forget Whitnee? I am not unhappy that she has moved down to Soi Crocodile, the roids mixed with alcohol made her a scary person to have around.

So to answer your question, no, I have never had the pleasure...

No offense mate, I know you have been going to LOS for years (Since the 70's) thought you might have known the dragon lady from then. She may have looked alright back when a beer was 20 baht.


She is at Tequila bar not C&D's and so is Aum. I don't think Dragon lady has worked anywhere else in over a decade. I seriously think she has some kind of head injury or is just whacko. Watching her climb up onto the dance podium makes me nervous, I don't want to have to go catch her when that fall eventually comes.

He and Ning-Nong founded the place, what, 11-12 years ago or some shit, I believe in what is now the tattoo parlor (did I say "parlor"?) below Tom's "Place to Stay" guesthouse, which was originally theirs, as well.

Fella's i need you help, as I'm taking nominees for a poll question to help us name Miss Patong 2009.  I think you know most of the obvious choices, but I will name a few. From C&D's Ae, Bombay, Sonya, C, and from Tequila Bar Aum, Jenny, Linda, an up and cummer Maggie, Emmy and of course my personal favorite Mint.  Its open to anyone still currently working on the island so soi tiger lbs and and massage parlour lbs are are also eligable.

If have a personal favorite go ahead and nominate her, if you have never even been, feel free to cast your vote. you can base it on the photos you have seen here or factor in performance reports, the choice is yours, the priveledge is yours so don't waste your opportunity in helping us crown Miss Patong 09.  I will list as many nominees as possible on the poll, and leave one spot for other.  If you do choose other I ask that you post that person on the thread of the poll.

If you need resources for making your descision I suggest using the Phuket forum, Coctails and Dreams Thread, and this thread.  Special thanks to the C&D's research department for providing so many great photos of so many great ladyboys.

No Posties allowed, but we invite postie lovers to rank their favorite ladyboy. Posties could be a whole other poll if someone else wants to organise that, good luck finding nominees past Linley.

I'm also wondering if femboys or lbs with no tits should be considered for miss Patong. that would exclude girls like, Aum, Emma, Noi, Pinky, from making the prelims. not sure how much voting action they would get at the cream of this crop.

More poll dilemma's. With only 10 poll choices available that would mean 9 different lbs and one write in candidate under the other. Could have 10 nominees then if someone else is posted enough times below the could advance that way, but the vote is not confidential then.

Another option is put 5 through to the next round then the next 10 nominees would compete in the first poll with 5 advancing to join the next 5 seeded/ranked contestants. Just a thought.

This would be my Top 5 seeds in alphabetical order. Note my vote isn't in this top 5. Under this proposal these five would advance to next 10 poll.

Ae - CD's
Bee - freelancer?
Bombay - C&D's
Jenny - Tequila Bar
Sonya - C&D's

Stage 1 Put 10 more in the 1st poll to compete to advance to join the 5 automatic bids in the second poll which would be stage two.
