Marine Disco has been a mainstay on Walking street for decades but is now closed. It is being replace by and Indian Nightclub. Apparently Indian Nightclubs now out number farang nightclubs in Pattaya. Not sure if they have ladybosy there like Marine did but probably not.
Marine was probably the most popular disco in Pattaya for ladyboy lovers. At one time Jenny Star ladyboy bar was at the bottom of the escalator. There was always many ladyboys in there and for many mongers this was their primary hangout. I've been there a few times and it was always fun. It was one of the few discos on walking street that even allowed ladyboys. Sad to see it go.
I wonder if a ladyboy disco could ever be viable?
Here is a couple pics from Jenny Star Bar showing the escalator up to Marine Disco. In the first picture you can see the sign. It used to be super easy to grab a ladyboy as you entered Marine disco.
The last 3 pictures are from Layla's birthday party at Marine Disco. Then we seen ladyboy Amy leading us out of Marine Disco to the rotating bar.
