Thanks for info Todd. Just had a look at the place. It's a little different. There are three fairly large booth/couch areas, a number of short square padded stools and regular bar stool seating at the bar. They appear to have 35+ top shelf booze brands. But prices aren't cheap. Top shelf is 140-190 baht. Soft drinks are 120B and beer 130B. There are no GoGo dancer poles. Instead there is an area about 10 feet long by 4 feet wide marked out on the floor with those string lights usually used to mark steps, etc in a dark bar. The LBs seemed to be having more fun just dancing instead of trying to attract attention from customers. There were quite a few LBs there around 11:30 PM. A few cute ones and many that probably weren't of age.

I only went for a quick look and had one beer. I was never approached by any of the LBs while sitting at the bar. So I guess it is "Up to you". I will try and get back and spend a little more time to get a feel for the place.

This was actually my first time to Sunee when it was busy. I was quite surprised by the number of nice looking bars, bright lights and lots of customers (gay). To get here walk east from the VC Hotel on Soi VC. It is about a three minute walk from 2nd Road/VC Hotel to the entrance of the soi and maybe another minute down the soi. The soi entrance is about 80 meters farther down Soi VC from Howard's Guest House on the other side of the street.

I guess it would make sense that gay bars would have superior interior design. I like the living room feel.

What's really needed is a home base ladyboy bar; what's needed is a low key place with a farang manager on premises so I have someone to chat with if I go alone.

Stopped in there with Snick last night, Loy Krathong. We were the only customers in there at 12:30. Probably a little late to go on such a party night. Sorry, no pics.

Easy to find, just past Kaos/Moulin Pink/whatever in Soi Sunee Plaza. Just walk up Soi VC from 2nd Rd. (next to VC Hotel) and make the first major right.

Super clean, great lighting, great layout, comfortable couches setback from the main floor, great AC, good music, no bad smells and some lovely girls. Only about 8 girls last night, was told that the others were already BFed either by punters or themselves. Some real cuties, although one would be advised to check their ID cards carefully (Why? Cuz they may not be ladies, of course! There are probably at least 16 or 17 other reasons).

The presence of several large mirrors ensures that the girls will practice their peacock, errr, preening, errr, dancing skills for the audience and indeed, several were doing just that last night. To enable themselves to check on their muscle tone, 2 girls were stripped down to their bras and one was dancing only in her undies.

We were surrounded/submerged under 4 or 5 girls, with only 1 drink request. Been a looong time since I've been mobbed at an LB bar in Thailand.

I had a soda water, Snick had vodka/Lipo (VERY light on the vodka. It took my exquisitely sensitive non-drinking palate to confirm that there was any liquor at all in his drink). Bill a bit high, at 260 baht!

Definitely a must-see-again place. I would guess that Snick will venture down again tonight, perhaps with his trusty Canon. Hope to see some interior pics soon. You all know how he puts the girls at ease!

Think there is/was a connection or common ownership between Minou and Kaos. Sitting in Minou last May, about 4-5 obviously underagers ran in for cover; it turned out Kaos was warned of a possible raid.

Discovered MINOU, in the company of several ATS mongers (and the desirable Suzy from Stringfellows) early yesterday evening.

Only stayed for a couple of drinks and a gawp at the talent.  But this place gets the thumbs up from TTChang, too.  Age is a potential   , but - as Stogie says above - the femboy talent is good (easy eye contact, etc, and they wait for your nod - ie. not pushy).  Not much sillycone here    

The bar layout is first rate, lighting ideal, and the service spot on (although the drinks prices are on the high side). The location isnt my favourite, but I shall be coming back.

Yes, its a nice bar with loads of mostly femboys with just one or two that are LBs. Great set-up and very relaxed not pushy at all

They set-up the girls sometimes, depending on when you go on the red chairs like a soapy and parade them around, nice touch

Only drawback for some may be the pricey drinks, they run about 130 per.

Yes, there are underage femboys there, so be careful!
