Ah just took a nostalgic wander down memory lane with this old tread. So many names and faces whom I have lost contact with over the years, some with us no longer sadly. My how the styles of the girls have changed also…..good times and perhaps the golden age of the LB scene for some of us.

The thread was only partly restored when you went through it but now fully restored with all the pictures that were missing and such.
Old Youtube videos were not there but at least you can upload small MP4's to the forum now plus many pictures at a time.

My ladyboy scene in Thailand started in 2007 so I definitely have some upcoming comments and updates on the some of the ladyboys as this definitely overlaps my experiences. Pattaya is certainly changing but it seems like there is more ladyboys and bars than ever but never quite been the same since they cleaned up the freelancer that used to fill walking street and other places.

Perhaps the advances in technology and the wide acceptance of transgender worldwide have really changed things over the years also.
Hopefully we will meet up in LOS some day, if we haven't already...

This post you made in Nov 2007 I beliieve is Ann whom I met in Pattaya on my first trip to Thailand in April 2007. She was tattoo free back then plus I am familiar with her from behind.
Her skirt or shorts? is very much like the Christmas picture from some bar she worked at, but that was a later after I had bought her some boobs.
At that time she was working on the street, I believe but that's not where I met her. Later she worked in Jenny Star Bar and Ezy bar, maybe others.
Then I think she often worked near JSB.

At that time I knew nothing of this forum or Asiants.com. I worked for Grooby and travelled to Thailand with them for the first time.

These are pictures of her in my room at the Dynasty inn which was about $20 USD a night back then.

It was October 2007 when I started to regularly go to Pattaya, before that it had been Bkk, Hua Hin and Patong for LB adventures. Maybe we have indeed crossed paths over the years Rockheart, so many faces have come and gone in the past two decades.

I used to love walking up and down the beach road at night back in the Noughties - imagine my shock and horror on returning to Pattaya in '22 and finding it all but vanished. No more dark shady areas with benches, and piles of deckchairs where you could get better acquainted. Jomtien still has a bit of this, but it's still only a shadow of the way things used to be.

I used to love walking up and down the beach road at night back in the Noughties - imagine my shock and horror on returning to Pattaya in '22 and finding it all but vanished. No more dark shady areas with benches, and piles of deckchairs where you could get better acquainted. Jomtien still has a bit of this, but it's still only a shadow of the way things used to be.

First they cracked down on freelancers working the street and beach. No more ladyboys up and down walking street and beach road.
Still the beach was much the same and the freelancers were still working the beach but right in front of the police station, which never made much sense to me.
So every so often the police would do sweeps and arrest the hookers and sometimes the mongers.

The influx of "real" tourists to Pattaya revealed what a crappy beach it actually was. Russians, Chinese, Indians and other countries were now sending more visitors and many were looking for a cheap tropical vacation. Pattaya fit the bill pricewise so I think many would chose it over Phuket base on cost. Likely unscrupulous tour agents don't let on the red light nature of Pattaya. I'd see Russian couples where the man was looking around Pattaya wide eyed while their girlfriend just looked angry.

It all came to a head when tourist were trying to find spots on the beach to sit for free and there was so many vendors selling chairs and such that there was no free space at the beach.
So there was documented fights with tourists looking for a spot and vendors protecting a part of the beach. So Thailand got much bad press around the world for having unfriendly beaches. Not good for their reputation.
This led to them increasing the size of the beach and limiting how many vendors can work there and how much space they take up. As a result there is less stuff piled up and less clutter. The beach was pretty much a free for all with little room for beach goers.

Much of the action has moved indoors these days.
