I spent many early evenings at Sallys Bar on my Nov trip, great place, Noi, Dow and Gypsy really lovely, highly recommend for a no hassle lay back bar.
If at first you don't succeed, Skydiving is not for you !
What you would say is the best time to go to Sally`resp. to Toto&Lulu ?
What time the ladyboys show up?
Pattayachrisont you know the name of the other LB Bar you mention in your post Nov 01 ?
I have never neet to Jomtien, how to go there?
Bhatbus or taxi?
Thanks for your help

I would head out to Sallys around 5.30pm, then maybe on to Toto & Lulu around 8pm the Girls were in the bar even at this early evening time, Baht bus from Pattaya to Soi 5 Jomptien is 10 Baht.

Hey amigo. I can't wait til we head to out to Jomtien and check out Sally's and Toto Lulu again. Been a while since I've been to either. I'm guessing Tim and Sally will still remember us though.
I wish I could remember the name of that cute little lb cashier than Sallys had a few years ago. She was fun to shoot pool with. It never mattered that I lost 90% of the time.

Ernesto, Better late than never....
About 10% of the Beach Road baht busses will make the turn and head for Jomtien. If it doesn't get out and get into the last baht bus loading on the southeast corner corner of 2nd Road and Pattaya Tia. When it's full it will head to Jomtien.
When it turns and hits the beach at Jomtien count down the sois and Soi 5 is Sally's. Soi Whitehouse (Toto/Lulu) is a couple of sois further.
Sally's Bar was clearly the best option in Jomtien when I visited the other week.
All the ladyboys are extremely friendly, and the vibe was such a contrast to so many other venues in Pattaya.
A nice selection of LB's too, but most importantly is the super friendly atmosphere.
Soi Whitehouse has at least 3 beer bars featuring ladyboys that I'm aware of;
1. Toto & Lulu's
2. 54 Bar
3. Jin Bar
Worth a look, but don't expect too much from the Soi Whitehouse bars. You may be lucky and uncover a "diamond in the rough" although I get the impression it can be a little "hit & miss" depending on the timing of your visit.

Ladyboys need to learn...... Listerine is not a beverage !
(rossco @ Apr. 07 2008,22:25) KK - I agree. Sally's bar in Soi 5 beats them all hands down. Service and familiarity are best. They are all "pool sharks" - be warned.
Well worth a visit for those prepared to move more than 500 meters from their normal routine.
I find Jomtien more laid back and generally less aggressive than Pattaya central - not the best looking but definitely less hassle.
Sally is a great hostess.

Sally's is the best in Jontien. I fell in love with Jane (GG) but have fun with many of them each visit. Barfined three (Jane plus Yo and Milk [LB]) for a night of Karaoke and fun but only took Jane home.
Noi, Soda, Champoo(sp) (all LBs) are fun and friendly in the bar. No pressure; no aggression. I will be back April 20.
Thanks Sally, for a great place to hang out!!!

A young (58) retiree from the USA who enjoys both GGs and LBs. In BKK its Guess Bar. In Pattaya it is Strings on Soi 13/1, so far. Best
Went there the other night and enjoyed it. There were two or three LBs around who are obviously part of the furniture, as they jump up from their seats to wait on tables if needed. One of them might have been Noi - can't quite tell from the pic that's been posted. But she was very attractive - tall, fine featured, lovely long brown legs, skinny with a rack.
She was obviously pleased that there was a definite LB fancier giving her the eye (she probably noticed the drool hanging off my chin), but she could also tell that I was with 'civilians', a married couple, who were only interested in a bar crawl that night. So the best we could do was to smile and wink across the room whenever we caught each others' eye, which happened frequently. She has a lovely smile.
Then when we paid the bin, she said to me 'I hope to see you again' with an unmistakeably meaningful look. Sadly, I didn't find time to go back - next time, for sure.
Apart from that attraction, it's a nice enough place to have a beer and watch the world go by. And it definitely makes a nice change to go to Jomtien for an evening, where the pace, noise and general levels of mayhem are much lower than in Patts.
Ernesto, you get there by baht bus from the 'terminus' at the crossroads of Second Road and South Pattaya Road. You have to wait till the bus is full, which sometimes takes a while, but 10 baht will take you all the way to Jomtien Beach Road. Get off at Soi 5 and it's a one minute walk up that soi.
