Sure the Pattaya Bay Resort would currently be my first choice of where to based while in Pattaya however, that place has become so damn popular that rooms are becoming increasingly difficult to come by and as a similar standard alternative I can happily recommend the LK Pavalion with studio apartments starting from 1200 per night or 20,000 per month, it is great value.
It's a little bit out of the way but not far, the walk to walking street takes 15 minutes & there are loads of motor sai taxis near the hotel.
I liked it there, infact so much that I stayed six months and changed my room a couple of times just to give me a different balcony view
