        (stogie bear @ Aug. 05 2007,09:41) What's the PBR?
Hmmm, first thought was Pattaya Beach Road but it's not exactly "between" WS.

Another nice little 'extra' about the PBR (Yeah - us regulars call it 'The PBR' - cool, eh?    )
          You invented it mate!

Not many places in Pattaya outside of the 5* hotels.

Off the top of my head, id say the Marriott is a good bet, but will be expensive and very good though.

The woodlands resort bakery cafe just past dolphin roundabout is very good and they will make something to order with 3-4 days notice and its cheaper than the Marriott.

You have the bog standard Thai style cakes in places like S&P which are all over Pattaya but the cream is not real cream.

            Cheers
            Mardhi

I would suggest you go see an English lady called Pat at Pat's Pies on 3rd Rd not far from the junction of South Pattaya Rd.
Or on North Pattaya Rd their is a restaurant called The Balcony which also has a bakery specialising in cakes & stuff.

I would suggest S&P if its for a Thai, its what they expect in a birthday cake.

Just a heads up, don't go to the S&P website.

Luckily my anti-virus software caught a lot of questionable stuff.

I was trying to find locations cause all I want is a simple cake that Thais are used to with Happy Birthday written in Thai.

                      Really !

I go to their website often, its crap, but never triggered any anti-virus alerts.
Next time I will use a Mac !

                        I googled S&P Pattaya.

Top listing was "thailand travel search" website, went there and clicked on what seemed to be the S&P website.

Avira Anti-Virus is what caught it.
