Just paid a visit to a new bar in Soi 6. Happened to park outside and spent a really nice evening inside.

Owner Karl was a top host and has the bar fully operational this coming week. Plays anything on a great jukebox from Stevie Ray Vaughan to Gary Moore.

Already some new talent in place, check out See. A real honey at 19 yo. Great to see some adventurous souls taking things forward.    

The bar is located at the top of Soi 6. Turning in from second street, its immediately on your left. Its called Barely Legal.  Pretty Cack title but I hope it works for Karl, jing jing.    

It takes nothing away from the solid and trusty regulars  in soi 6, soi 13/1 but adds to the reasons we do what we do.

The place you are referring to is directly across Soi 6 from Goodfellas. When I visited in April, it was known as the new E&T Bar.

Now that I think about it, they had already removed some of the E&T signage from the exterior so may have been in the process of making changes.

I recall it being extremely dark in there.

They were definitely "ladyboys in training" the few that I recall meeting there.

Your description is about right. The bar was dark but very comtortable. I think they were having a dry run as there were only about five girls there. It was closed last night when I went for a trawl so I guess Karl will be looking to open at the end of this week.

Certainly makes an excellent addition to the Pattaya scene and I hope it works for a fellow countryman. At least the company was mighty fine, he had Johnnie Daeng and the music was just what us aging rockers enjoy. All good wishes    

Might be difficult to get hold of for next few days as am on Koh Chang. How remote is this place !!!! Still, will faithfully report on any findings out here - but I think I will have to find some other human beings first.  

Anyone know of any prospects in this little oasis ?? Think I'm becoming a trappist monk

Dropped by last night for an update and it seems that Karl will be pressing the go button on June 15th from around 01.00pm. He reckons to have around 15-20 girls around that day.

Probably many already known to the officionado

I went looking for E&T Bar in late May but the sign had been removed and it appeared closed. Guess I know why now. Another new bar to check out, cool.

Yup, it looks good. Dropped by two nights ago and although unofficially closed, Karl was sorting out lighting and bar stuff. Nice mood lights, comfortable sofas, usual hard assed bar stools, but the place seemed to be well worth a visit. KK, you described it perfectly but I think the new guy has made some serious inroads into the internal decor. Time will tell.

Will be there for the opening and will most certainly be looking out for Kahuna. Deffo some good tales to tell you and a few new bad boy stories

Spent a couple of evenings in Stringfellows which was great fun over the last three days. New talent on view there called Ice Tiny kid, but with some nice equipment. Very young, guys, so just check the ID. Great dancer, bit shy (errrr, not), talent for the future.

DP, I will ask Karl about a preview, but I suspect many of the girls are known to the members of this forum from elsewhere. Still its a start and the early signs are encouraging. Deffo take a good look at See (or Si) - mmmm, hot to trot.

Anyway, will report back on any schedule changes and additional exotica as it appears. In the meantime, another glass of Johnnie Daeng beckons

Gave the place a dry, errrr wet, run last night. Opening 3.00pm on friday. Looks even better and the lighting is just about right. A few more girls were around as well so I think Karl is hunting down a few more decent additions.

Its certainly very comfortable on the sofas, judging by the fact I fell asleep on one of them. Fortunately came round to find the Si's lap acting as my pillow. Very nice indeed.
