Here's a funny thing. I'd be more inclined to watch a caberet show in a ladyboy bar in Pattaya than I would in Bangkok. Don't ask me why, 'cos I can't explain it.

Maybe it's got something to do with a; the girls are approachable (if you fancy one of them) and b; the girls are generally better looking than the halloween shows that infest Bangkok bars and c; Pattaya is the venue where I'm more tolerant of bizarre and unexpected things...

From what I gather after talking to Bob - he has gone to considerable trouble to hire and train a good act that will showcase some nice approachable lbs... and not that insulting spectacle that destroys my mood in the Bangkok shitpits.

The cabarets are probably a carry over from the days gone by when a "female impersonator" was a unique and often thought bizarre attraction. Finochios in San Fran in the 1950's was a must see event.............my parents (conservative, midwest folks) even thought it worth seeing. Long gone now in San Fran as so much of the great stuff from that era.........that type of show is still a tourist attraction for many people I guess.....But at a LB bar where the cast is hookers and they are "preaching to the choir"....seems an odd addition. Maybe just a way to keep the girls busy, use their talent for more than humping a pole and show them as something other than the typical p4p girl......

The shows are definitely "NOT" your usual run of the mill crap! You can come to the bar on consecutive days and not see the same show twice!
The Show dancers are all Bar-fineable, at the IMHO reasonable price of 500 Baht ST or LT (ST includes room).
