The bar itself is OK and the talent not too bad for Pattaya.

Of all the shit that goes on in Pattaya, the Ladyboys actually have to be one of the milder varities.

That put Stringfellows on the Right hand side of the street, about 6-8 businesses down from Second Road as you are walking toward the beach.


The short time rooms are directly upstairs.

I've never been heckled by low life lager louts in the other bars, but then I'm big, mean, and ugly.

spent quite some time at Stringfellows 6 months ago and also over the last few weeks on my latest trip

I must admit that the show (and i saw it a few times) was very tame, in my opinion. It was the same 4 girls each show (each day). One of the girls was Kang who just bores the tits off me and barely has a usable dick anyway. There was no actual sucking - just lots of simulation. I never once saw any of them get hard (that includes Suzy) and once you've seen the show you really dont need to see it again. That said, there was plenty of cock on display in the club anyway - of all the LB go-gos, thsi does seem to be the one where they regularly do get their cocks out for a little play. They also don't seem to try and hide their appendages away as the LBs at other bars do

500 baht includes barfine and short-time room

ST rooms still have the same problem as before - shower consists of a large tub of bloody cold water that you have to ladle over yourself

Overall though, my main impression of stringfellows is that though it has some good-looking girls, they all become excellent clock-watchers once in the room and I would spend my money elsewhere (the beer bars are so much more fun anyway if you're in Pattaya with plenty of ladyboys hidden around)

I've never noticed any harassing at all. I have often had a few at the Jolly Roger or Sexy Girls before making the jump across the soi to stringfellows.

No one has ever said boo to me. The soi pretty much closes down at the same time. If you stay until the club closes and leave with someone, there is no one outside, but then again I may have been too drunk to notice...and really didn't give a shit anyhow.

As far as leaving Jenny Star bar...just take the back exit...short time girl leaves by the front, you leave from the rear exit and follow a short distance behind her to her room across the street...pretty discreet really.

Shows are 8:30, 10:30, 12:30. Bar fine 500, but 1000 for a dancer if u go outside. Short-time room included in the bar fine at 500. Rooms are fine. Water ain't that cold!

Very nice place indeed, and much appreciated given its more relaxed atmosphere than Jenny's.

The 1000 Baht for showgirls/dancers heresy (in some cases only before midnight or some other set hour) is getting increasingly common in Pattaya it seems, common point of complaint on the non-LB mongering boards since the beginning of this high season.

Pretty ridiculous, but I guess most bars figure they are in the business of selling drinks first, selling takeaway second.

I think it's quite reasonable in this case.

Many people go to see the show. If customers take the show-dancers, that attraction for the bar is gone, so they lose money.

It is the same in places like Angel Witch, in fact, far, far more I believe, more in the 5-10K baht range for a performer.

This is a very practical and business-wise tactic.

If everyone is a dancer/performer, then it's not reasonable, but that's not the case here.
