LOL - the bar does not open until 7pm hence why they were crashed out on sofas and probably eating somtam (although that can occur anytime of the day & night !!)

TT Chang's fine pics while showing an accurate portrayal of the girls, is not reflective of what the bar itself looks like now. The bar is nearly fully completed with a make over and becoming fully enclosed with air conditioning.

This has meant all new walls have been built and a new tiled floor put down. This is complete already. The aircon units have been delivered and electricians are sorting out the power supply and cabling to ensure it can cope with the load. aircons will be going in this week. here are a few pics of how the bar is looking now.

The area behind OPP (the girl) was completely open before and led to the toilets.

This to the far right of the bar as you look in used to be nothing but open space. Its been closed in and will open as a private Karaoke room with sofas etc in couple weeks. Its also equipped with a shower as a couple of girl sleep in the bar overnight for security purposes.

By the way, I have selected pics showing the most of the what is going on - not for looking at the girls....

Mardhi, thanks for the update! The renovations are looking good, giving Anaconda a much more upscale ambience! I also understand that there will be a team from Anaconda for the water volleyball tournament - is it going to be joint with Guess Bar or strictly the Anaconda girls?

..hopefully I will make it in there next month, maybe find more than one anaconda to my liking..     .. now what's the story with Guess Bar, only 4 LBs on duty??

anicon, what time of the day were you at Guess? There are around 6-8 on the early shift (starting approx 2 pm), with the rest coming in around 5-6-7 pm. They have around 30+ lbs on staff, and I have heard that business has been quite good with plenty of ladies being barfined - so it could have been just bad timing on your part to catch only 4 ladies, while you were there.

Guess has never in my memory had a night where only 4 staff have turned up. This month (August) they are averaging 26 girls turning up for work per day, and that is only down as 5 were fired after they got paid for July, 2 went to Singapore (but have subsequently come back already) and one has just vanished. We are expecting to have more returning in October which will lift the average up to 40 staff (that is an average of how many show up for work on a daily basis - the bar has in excess of 50 girls but they never all turn up and some choose to break their work by taking months off at a time).

Guess Bar just had (in July) by far its busiest ever month - beating it previous best month which as you would expect was a January - however July is the low season so it was an incredible achievement and certainly not achievable on 4 staff - heck they have more than that just working on the service team these days.

However Anaconda went down to 4 staff for a period of about 3 weeks earlier this year. However Anaconda is now operating with 18 staff - all full time and salaried - same format as Guess. However unlike Guess, all 18 turn up everyday - its amazing really. In BKK you always have no shows but its rare for that to happen in Pattaya. Even more amazing, they all turn up on time as well.

It certainly was not the bar's finest hour and came about after 4 got moved up to BKK. At the same time, 2 picked up sponsors and stopped working and I think 4 were poached by another new bar at an artificially high salary & false promises that never materialised - some of those have come back.      Messy at the time but completely resolved now.
