Decided to visit Nana Bar on Pattaya 3rd Road last month, as I€™d never been there before, and though I should check it out.  After a little walking, I found the venue.  The place is under French management, and there was a group of older Frenchman getting rather loud & animated whilst playing a game of Nintendo Wii on the big screen television.

There was only a single ladyboy at the bar, and she was already talking to some chap.  I was just about to leave after a single Gin & Tonic when she came over.  In her early 30€™she had a pleasant face and the sort of tall sleak physique that wouldn€™t have looked out of place out front of Linda Bar.

I agreed on a two hour massage, which turned out to be a big mistake, as her massage technique was basically non-existent.  When she eventually revealed her tiny tackle, I completely lost any interest, made my excuses and left despite the better part of an hour still remaining.  I threw her a couple of hundred baht to avoid any hassle, and was out the door.  I'd already paid a fairly standard fee for the actual massage to the cashier before proceeding upstairs.

Ladyboy or not, I don't think it's asking too much to expect a decent massage ?

Perhaps there are some other staff that are more capable, but this one delivered the worst massage I'd ever experienced.

I was just saying last night to another BM, I can find LBs to suit my tastes in bed no problem -- I don't need some LB that I'd normally never choose coming at me under the pretenses of a massage and then have said massage suck balls.

Not trusting that "azza" character as far as I can throw him, which, well... ohneveryoumind... I decided to investigate this matter personally.  

Made an appointment with Ice.  Then got a somewhat conflicting report from my personal field tester.  Then canceled.  Then ran into a mutual friend (LB) on the street who said Ice called her to ask about me and she told her I was hansum man and jai dee.  Then I thought that might actually tip the scales in my favor to get what I wanted.  Game back on...

My mission: Get a real, decent Thai (oil schmoil!) massage in my own room from a ladyboy -- no mean feat -- and, if in the mood, perhaps to practice other forms of massage.  

I set it up well: In my SMS's with her I was clear I wanted a real Thai massage, unnastan?  And when she arrived I made no overtures of any kind, showed her my war wounds, so to speak, and kept her guessing.  

The result: a decent massage!  To me, there's a line drawn when it comes to massage -- the line of satisfaction -- when you walk away from it, was it therapeutic?  Hers made the cut.  Not by a wide margin necessarily but by enough to get the, um, thumbs up.  And the other forms of massage practiced were very therapeutic as well.  

Oh at about the same time the following day I got to thinking to myself, I said, "Self, in your experience, isn't it true that with massage, each successive time you've returned to a masseuse it has gotten better, as they've learned your needs and desires more?"  I had to agree with myself on that one.  It was true.  And so feeling some needs and desires at that very moment as it so happened, but really in the name of research and good-massage-wanting BMs everywhere, I decided to give Ice another call.  

She was at the front desk in 5 minutes.  I shit you not.  And once again... I was right!  The first one I would rate as "satisfactory" (which, on my scale, is a little higher than it sounds), but the second one -- albeit somewhat briefer -- was quite good and you might even say "personalized".

Ice is a doll.   And fun.    And if you're clear what you want, you'll probably get it.  I did.
