The EVENT of the YEAR!

It's fer charidee, folks!  

On Wednesday 27th May 2009 we will be having a ladyboy lovers convention.

It will take place at the Pattaya Bay Resort rooftop...

We have a floor of the hotel blocked off and the rooftop pool and areas have been reserved for us.

We'll have a live Thai band, FREE DRINKS and loads of nice grub!

The night before on Tuesday we will be having our annual ladyboy lovers fajitas night at Shenanigans...

Last year 20 people showed up and made this evening a spectacular event. I'm guessing we'll have more this year!

Here's some information that you need to know...

The whole event is to start off our charity fund, more of which will be explained in the future on a separate thread. The treasurer of the fund is TTChang.

If you want a room for the 27th of May please let me know on this thread so I can book it for you.

The rooms are 1,000 baht or 20 pounds or 30 dollars (payable in advance.)
(You can of course make your own accommodation arrangements.)

If you want the room for longer let me know. The rate will be the same.
You can either pay me cash or pay through the 'donate' link on the forum.

The live traditional Thai band (NOT LOUD!) plus the food and drinks are ALL FREE ALL NIGHT, but we will be expecting charitable donations on the night.

You can give what you like but at least 200 baht per person for the charity fund would be nice...
(Of course all the ladyboys will be eating and drinking and stripping off in the pool for free!)  

Also - if you intend to go to the Tuesday night fajitas evening please let me know on this thread so I can book the table.

The rooms will disappear very quickly so if you want one then get it now.

Stogie; why is this on a Wednesday, mid-week, instead of a Friday?

Just my humble feedback; as you intend to make this to start off a charity and funding event, there might be members who due to work commitment (incl. myself) would love to be there, yet simply don't have the opportunity.

If the event would be e.g. a Friday I would imagine attendance and then, also the donations would be much more, a win-win for all (at least for me.... .. )

Yes, of course people can "just" donate online, I know....but live events, like this, are guaranteed to get folks pay much more then online, because of the joy of being in such great company and companionship.

The cash sits much more freely in the pockets at live events, trust me !!

Hi peterpan...

Yep - for people who work and live here the weekend would be better.

We've taken into account several regulars and their schedules, flight times and holidays and this is the best overall time to do this.

People who are determined to come have plenty of notice to make plans... there are three months left to go!

It would have been convenient for a few to have a weekend gig but this would have excluded a few people who don't live here and who wanted to go.

Sorry if that messes things up for a few people but we had to have it on a day and we had to get the word out now to get an idea of numbers, etc.

Hopefully those stuck working will have a mystery ailment for a couple of days!
