Dr. Phillip Kottler (the marketing guru) speaking at a symposium in Bangkok a few years ago:
We have come full circle -we are back to where we started.
Things are the same as they were before the word "marketing" was invented.
We have explored all possibilities, print advertising, media advertising, direct mail etc. etc. They worked for a while and then people got bored with them and we had to invent another tool.
In the new millenium the most potential marketing tool is once again word of mouth.
As long as you believe in your product and your product is of a high standard and quality and as long as you are sincere to your customers and the "customer" is once again "king" you will succeed.
There is no such thing as bad publicity- it is all publicity and eventuallly works to your favour.
You may create chaos and confusion and long as your true believers support you it can only work to your benefit.
The more they talk about you the more they will become interested in your product.
I could ramble on for quite a while but will leave it at this. Have more important things to do toady

(Jay Leno's Chin @ Dec. 09 2009,19:12) Why do you keep posting here? What purpose do any of your inane rants serve? By your own admission you have no trusted friends here.
There are still quite some non believers out there. You would not believe how many registered on our forum yesterday.
My guess is you have likely invented all of this in your head in all the empty spaces that aren't occupied by Star Trek crap. Clearly some wires are not attached correctly.
Yes indeed I had to perform yet another mind meld on ChuckWow when he considered making peace with his "enemies" again.
(koetjeboe @ Dec. 09 2009,23:18) i can understand some of the confusion you men have.
but im afraid this is just the way we do things in holland.
we are not the same as you brits/yanks/aussies.
my favourite method to get new friends, is by threatening them.
its true, either be my friend and toe my line, or i will make problems for you.
this is the dutch way.
ask my brother.
Quite true Koetje.
I once boycotted the media reporter of the Volkskrant (largest socialist newspaper in NL) for a month because he wrote a bad concert review.
His reply: "freedom of speech bla bla bla , I can write what I want"
My reply: "If so you shouldn't have accepted the free promotional records and free concert tickets you asked for and which I gave you."
You don't get something for nothing - you don't get freedom for free.
You won't get wise with the sleep still in you eyes -no matter what your dream might be.
Just one example , I have many more. And they all came back and many even became friends forever.
actually me and my brother henri are interested in the retreat.
would you know if it has permision to build a church on the land.?
also, we would need a granny flat for our mum.
any info apreciated.

Good luck spreading the good news!
For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may receive what is due for what he has done in the body, whether good or evil.
—2 Corinthians 5:10
I regret to inform you that our retreat will be temporarily closed untill early January when we will resume operations. As it looks now it will operate in a slightly different manner than over these last couple of weeks.
Currently owners and partners are discussing how to proceed in the new year.
To some this may seem to be a failure but it is not.
All of us have other jobs as well such as real estate agents, developers, bar and guesthouse owners etc.
On top of that we have responsible roles in organisations and clubs. In operating Nang Fah as a ladyboy retreat at current requires too much time and effort and a lot of the confidential information and contacts can simply not be passed over to other persons.
What did we achieve?
We completely refurbished the place so it would meet the rquirements of our clientele.
We hired and gave basic training to our staff and they have developed into a nice team that can give NAng Fah Retreat the family feeling that such a place requires.
So everything is more or less in place -we still need to iron out some minor transportation problems but nothing is too hard to handle.
Due to the time and effort put in to preparing and starting up we did not have much time to work on bookings and many of those who plan to visit in the high season already have made their reservations well in advance.
We were fortunate that some good friends and supporters were willing to test market our hideaway, firstly to spot technical glitches to the rooms and secondly to test if we could provide our services to a wide range of clientele. And our first cutomers were quite diverse and from different nationalities.
The only thing they had in common was thier passion for ladyboys but each had their own tastes, requirements and modus operandi.
On thing is for sure: Nang Fah Retreat is a perfect hideway for private parties for groups up to 20 people with overnight possiblities for a maximum of 4 couples ++ were many things are pre-arranged and booked in advance.
Finding individuals through specialist forums is not that difficult but to find a group of like minded people requires us to dig even deeper.
As said we are evaluating and discussing our findings and will come with some official announcement later this month.
And don't be surprised if there will some spontaneous little parties in the meantime...
We thank you all for your understanding in these matters.
well, if your team want to have a little chat about building a church on site, me and henri will be able to help out with costs.
i already have some alter boy outfits, just need to nip down sunnee plaza and grab a couple of young uns.
i have always wanted to be head of my church of latter aged sex tourists.
and this seems perfect.
out the way a bit, no prying eyes......
keep me informed.
regards
koetjeboe and gypthecat/benturpin etc....
