Knowing Piggdog I'd say once he spied the 40 baht beers he didn't bother with that question
That's right Jim, but not for the reason you think.
40 baht beers are just too damned expensive. If I'm hanging out with my mates, I don't need bargirls and the associated tourist bar prices when I can drink 20 baht Archas outside Minimarts and makeshift bars.
That said, my buds don't always want to drink at the Minimart so 40 baht beers isn't a bad compromise.
(PigDogg @ Dec. 03 2009,16:01) Slightly north of Pattaya Tai on the east side of 3rd Road.
PD - these are the most confusing directions I think I have ever read - especially as Pattaya Tai (south road) goes East-west in direction - Pattaya 3rd road goes north - south.
Made perfect sense to me...But then I speak PigDogg...
It does make complete sense. And you don't need to speak PigDogg. Since 3rd Rd runs north south, it has an east side of the road and a west side of the road. It could not be made more plain and simple than how PD said it.

"Inflexibility is the worst human failing. You can learn to check impetuosity, overcome fear with confidence and laziness with discipline. But for rigidity of mind, there is no antidote. It carries the seeds of its own destruction." ~ Anton Myrer
Paid a visit early evening at it is a nice clean bar but nothing special.
Had one LB there and many old Thai bar women.
Heineken 60 bht.
Did have a massage from one of two LB's and rooms clean and tidy.
Drinks and massage came to 1100 baht.
If you come up Pattya Tai from 2 nd Road you pass Friendship Supermarket and IT City on your right. You then come to a cross roads with traffic lights. This is Third Road. Turn left and the Nana Bar is on your right 100 yards down.
