Two things grated with me, if you want to improve things.  Firstly I don't like having my 10% VIP card declined (waved away) by the service girl when I checked my bin (maybe the computer isn't programmed for it).  Accepted when Riga was called.  Doesn't cover 'Kitten drinks', but that is mentioned on the card (which i hadn't realised).

TTChang, thank you for pointing out this situation. Just had a quick chat with Riga and she agreed to the mess caused by the service girl in question and the service girl herself has been given another crash-course in handling VIP Cards. Happy Hour was not on at that time and no other promotion was applied so you were surely entitled to use your VIP Card and we're glad you did!

Secondly the Cashier should be sent on a 'dealing with customers' course. Came over to our table to sort out a confused bill.  And looked as miserable as sin ...  actually sin isn't miserable.  Maybe that's part of the job description!

Thanks again, cashier in question has been lectured twice since last night as well.

Realised my mistake when I got a PM from Pigdogg saying "nice to have met you."
Pigdogg??? I thought he introduced himself as Big Tel (also a bm)?? But that is due to my midrange hearing dip - caused by too many rock concerts when I was working in the music business before. If there is background noise like in bars I have a problem understanding people.
I was wondering all the time: "something seems not to be quite right as what he is saying about himself didn't quite match what I know about BigTel. " But great guy nevertheless!

Went to Obsessions some weeks ago and was pretty unhappy when my change came back 100 baht short. Not that it can't happen anywhere, but that coupled with a hard push to barfine someone when I arrived at 1:50 am?? and a non-stellar line up at that time didn't have me coming back. But, I guess it looks like it is worth another look see.
